I sent a ticket to them about two months ago about the same issue. They replied with the same message you got. They still haven't fixed the problem.. Really irritating. Both Jhudoras and Illusens reset, the highest I've managed to get is to 10 before it resets..

 

When you say "a while", how long do you actually mean?

First couple weeks I must have been lucky as I got it within 5-10 minutes of trying. The last 2 times I wasn't so lucky, took a lot longer.

Noda's page is full of lies. I got Faerie Fortune Cookies today by going to the 'Speciality' tab in the Mall. Someone in my guild mentioned they were available, and they sure were. Noda didn't even know he'd made them.

I don't know if that means that page is broken (the one where it shows the 3 available) or if they just intended for them to be available randomly without notice :s

Not sure how much you'd still be able to claim, but the festival page still exists http://www.neopets.com/neggfest/y15/ if you want to see if you can still pick prizes from the sections you completed :D

I don't know if I'm reading it wrong, but I thought the OP was asking about last years festival.

I'd assume they are gone now. Think they only allow until the next festival to claim prizes. Sorry.

The game works for me, I even managed to get the score for the avatar...

But I can't send the score. The "send score" button redirect me to the "download soundtrack" one. Damn.

I really don't know how to fix this. Too bad, it's a rather easy avvie :( Any hint? I managed to get the Hannah and the Pirate Caves one through Safari, maybe I should try that.

I had the same issue in firefox. Switching to chrome for that game made it work.

I've read that to have the Space Faerie as a challenger, you need to redeem an item code. Does anyone happen to know if there are still item codes available to be redeemed? Meaning are there items being sold in the store with codes you can still enter?

If so, what kind of items are these? Would anyone have a list or know where to find a list?

Those three have been there for weeks.. I thought I'd have to wait until those sell out to be replaced, but the numbers tend to go up the next day when I check again..

I've checked at different times during the days too.

I've managed to buy the faerie quest cookie simply by search up 'cookie' in the search bar of the nc mall. Spam clicking 'add to cart' until it tells you you have one.

It may take a while but that's the only way it works for me. (You don't have to close the popup that says it's out of stock.)

If the emails deactivated by hotmail, Wait a month or so then they delete it fully (If it hasn't been already)

They tend to purge deactivated email addresses quite quickly actually.

 

Then you can just recreate an email account with the same address, and get your password emailed to it?

After the email is purged by hotmail you can defintely re-create it and receive emails normally. I've had this happen for accounts on other things. Works fine. (Just wanted to say that it does indeed work)

That's a very good question, but I doubt it, since the e-mail is no longer active but it remains in the database. Worth the try tho. My mail has been inactive for more than 4 years and still active :/

 

Edit: They just answered me, and after a small chat they said they can't do anything because the account has been incative for too long :/. So I have nothing to do here, I won't start all over again, I'll try to remember the password both mail and account and hope for the best.

Did they say it's been too long and it's purged? Won't matter if you remember your info if they deleted it all together.

I've had the same issue with this. Both reset randomly to level 1 after successfully completing the previous quests..
I sent a ticket and they said they are aware of the issue and will *eventually* fix it.. Of course they won't return your lost neopoints...

Kind of annoyed as I really wanted to get these avatars done..

Same issue happened in January for me.. Took them over 2 months to get back to me with a solution. In the ned they said they couldn't offer me the discount price.. Even though now they have the promotion on again... >.>

Here's a tip on how to score a cookie or two.

Go to the nc mall.

Search cookie or faerie, any word in the name that will get you a list of items including the cookie you are looking for.

Repeatedly click on "add to cart." You don't have to close the alert that pops up saying there is none in stock.

Eventually you'll get one added to your cart.

Now I know this doesn't make them appear or guarantee a buy, but I have gotten a cookie each time I've tried within minutes of doing this, so either I'm getting lucky on the restocks or it seems to work to some extent.

If your cookie ends at noon and you claim your quest before it ends and open another cookie after it ends, can you claim another quest that day? Making you have 2 quests in one day?

A Water Faerie sniffs and says, "You probably won't help, but I need How to Make Stationery for my studies. I can't tell you why."

Sent a ticket in. I kind of knew what their answers was going to be, so was kind of a waste of time.

They just said they've acknowledged the issue and will fix it at some point (no time frame given). And that they can't replace any lost items or neopoints.

So looks like it's just a glitch that may not be fixed for a while.

Switched to Illusen's Quests after the second reset on jhudoras.. I got to level 6 and now today it said I was back to level 1.. :grrr:

The items I've been getting I'm getting from the SSW instantly. And it always says congratulations come back later for another one, so I have no idea what's going on :s

Daily. I did miss yesterday and when I went today it was back to 1.. Not sure if skipping a day is causing it, but I don't know why that would be the issue..

Well I managed to get to level 10 and when I went back the next day I was at level 1..

Not sure how that happened, but I started doing them again and got to about level 3 or 4.. Just went back today to do another one and it's back to level 1..

What's the deal? Is it a glitch? Is there something I'm missing here?

I'm part of a chain for this month and I currently have the pet and I'm supposed to be sending it to another user, but it won't let me start the transfer because it says they have too many pets (their lookup says they have 4 pets). I sent a message back to the person in charge of the chain but haven't got a reply from them.

Don't know if it's the same for everyone, but it says "Bonus" on the Shootout Showdown game. What exactly does that mean?

My first cup so have no idea how things work..

I only do 1-p bd & the black pteri is my aim right now, but once I get the avatar, I don't think I'll be battling it again anytime soon..

I actually have a battle hammer equipped, but I was thinking using dual type items was more beneficial than using two offense or a 1offense/1defense split.

Maybe I should start thinking differently...

As far as training, I'm slowly training up, but I keep zapping the nimmo (which is supposed to be a xweetok, I'll have to morph it later) and in the last 3 days I've got +5 hp twice.. so I'm stuck just training level for now.

Not too sure on how freezers work if they would be beneficial for me or not so haven't really looked at those.

So my main question now is do I need to use 1offense/1defense while fighting then? As I've been looking at just dual-duties, I guess just trying to play it safe and maybe that's what is hurting me..

Well I'm not much of a battledome person, but due to the obelisk war happening I had to find some cheap weapons to try and stand a chance against the weak opponents..

Right now I'm using these items:

• Oversized Maractite Rune Sword
• Snowager Sword
• Greater Healing Scroll

And occasionally I use

• Parasol of Unfortunate Demise

That's about it. It works for me for the lower types of challenges, but I've been trying to get some BD avatars out of the way and I'm stuck at the black pteri.. I almost got him down to 0 in my first fight and now I can barely scratch him..

Hoping it would help me out in future fights, but I haven't seen it do much for me..

I'm wondering if anyone could help me out real quick on some cheap alternatives as well as some not so cheap (nothing over the top, just something decently priced for what it does) items.Before I go spending NPs on items I don't really need or aren't worth the cost.. First question would be should I sell the golden compass back or keep..?
