I just checked the gimp website, but they don't have Windows version at the moment

No I mean, sometimes, buyers are lazy to change email address after buying. So if you find out fast enough, you can use "forgotten password" feature to get the password to be sent to your email

 

To be secure from now on, activate birthday login & put pin on everything. So even if they got your accounts, they can not change email right away. You can totally get it back :)

 

Did your hacked account get frozen? Or is it still in use?

They changed the email also?

 

However, if your hacked account has side accounts that you are using, be careful of chain frozen once your hacked account got frozen

I once got the ticket explanation - "TNT won't be responsible in case of stolen password. You have responsibility to keep your account safe"

 

I know how you feel. In case you really really really want your account back. Neomail them, ask them politely to BUY it back. I know it sounds ridiculous. But's that's the only way if the account means so much to you in term of memory / effort.

 

TNT will not do anything for you. Even when you have proven you are the real owner (I've tried before)

Well, for food, you can try to buy coupons from places such as "groupon.com". I'm not sure groupon available in Australia, but I'm sure there will be similar service.

 

However, dinner would not fit everyone tho .... Do you know your relative any better? You can try to ask around tho.

 

After all, if he's not that important. Don't stress your self. You can always get him like a pack of Bud Light. Whether he likes it or not, it's not your problem

Properly, I think we can separate the reputation system and the "like or thank" system. The reputation system should be taken seriously for members who help out others. But the like or thank system should be more freely.

That's not a bad idea actually...not sure if he's particularly into music but you know, who isn't? Did you get those bulky type of headphones? I always imagined them to be really expensive :(

 

 

 

Ahh definitely considered that one, and it's one of those things that people actually like because they'll use it, but I feel like everyone will think it's a bit of a cop out :P

 

Well, yah, I think I'm a bit obsessed with coming up with a perfect gift. So if I don't know the person well enough, I would rather let them choose their own than guessing the wrong choice. But for early 30, here are some more:

 

- Restaurant reservations

- Movie tickets

- Electronic devices / tools (look at Best Buy for some ideas). Like if he has an Ipad, get him an stylus pen

- Watch

- Fountain pen if he is obsessed with some forms of writing

- A game if he is a gamer

- Couppa of movies or Netflix / Amazon .... subscriptions for a month / year

- Books or a few ebooks if he's a nerd

 

I got many customized ideas but I don't know your friend at all, so that's all I can think of at the moment
