HRoT is a good suggestion. I may equip it if I am up against a challenger that has something worth stealing. The randomness of stealing items can be a blessing our a curse.

 

Lamppost I agree that Tabard and Gshield need to go together, and HNMS doesn't really pair well with either shield due to overlap. In fact dark is the only icon that gshield covers and HNMS doesn't... might as well get HCC in that case. I think I can simply get a parasol, like you said, if I am up against light-heavy 1-P opponents. For the rest of the time I'll sport the above set, which seems to be useful in most situations (and maybe 2-P?).

Actually I think I should work really hard and save for a K-Lens because I just realized that K-lens and Ftab will also cover all icons... with light/earth/dark being reflected back 50%

Now the part that has me a bit unsure is Gshield/Ftab. Any other shield combo that is better? Ftab has helped quite a bit in 1-P... but is HNMS better? Should I switch Gshield for HCC? Any other weapons I am missing? Thanks!

Also, anything you would change in my set? I am thinking about getting rid of the Pirate Captains Hat and replacing it with the Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield. Does that sound like a good idea? The reason being withdraws are now counted as losses and a first turn break for the hat + no withdraw often equals defeat. The nox shield seems more reliable...

I would get rid of the scuzzy comb since the scroll of knowledge costs 13K and does 1 more icon.

 

With your set, I'd go with one more Y-blaster, a hanso charisma charm, leaf shield, downsize!, greater healing scroll (unsure how much HP you have), and a 100% freezer like h4000 helmet or freezing potion.

What is your budget? Without a budget it is really difficult to suggest upgrades... I may as well tell you to get SuAP and moehog skulls and WoDF :P

I agree... it's way overpriced for what it does. Unless I already have all of the pieces of my set and have extra NPs to spend I can't justify getting that lol

Would you recommend the Bag of Healing Dust or the Crisp Blue Tunic more? The final goal is the full healer but until then....

 

I'm guessing all the way up until 400 HP CBT can at least match or be better than BoHD. At 400 HP both items will give you a 200 HP difference between you and your opponent.

 

As for HRoT, it really is situational. I can always check what the 1-P opponent has before a battle to see whehter I want the item. I don't do 2-P, but a shield is a good idea for 1-P as well. Any recommendations for a good staple shield to use in 1-P? I'm guessing HCC means no G-shield

Thank you for the advice! Jhudora's Staff is definitely out of reach though. This is a set I am saving up for and I'm still a long ways away.

 

AJ, I think I'll take the advice and substitute Sword of Reif for one of the tridents. I'll probably also get rid of the nox shield and add the hanso charm in its place =)

I'm trying to come up with my "end-game" 1-Player set. I don't have nearly enough neopoints, but I'm making a set that I think is a reasonable goal in the (far off?) future. However, there are a couple of parts I'm not sure about... here is the set (my pet will hopefully have 500 str/def at least)

Hubrid nox shield

Bag of healing dust

Downsize

 

The thing I'm not too sure about is whether I should get rid of 1 shield and sub in another constant (hanso charm perhaps, for attack and def). If so, which shield to sac? Also, is 2x trident a good idea? Or should I switch it up with another constant? I do like how 2x trident looks though =P

 

Budget wise... about the same as the above set. Close to 60mil I'm guessing.
