Well didnt u all focus on one game, and then altadors cheaters helped you guys out with the other win? Either way getting a win on them yourselves is great!

Edit: Well they swept us, but i am very proud to see our SOSD score went from a 4 to a 6 :rolleyes_anim: We cant quit, not now. MD is today, they may be loosing steam like us but they are still a great team, and we must put up one heck of a fight. We should do a lot of MSN because that is what the TDN daily predictions said could go either way.

Not gonna really offend but I think even if RI does bad, its too late as DC's scores were sub-par last bracket. KI and KD are the teams that might win is RI gets like sweeped by everyone now.

DC is ahead of KD, so it would be KI and DC. No matter what i have kind of lost faith in this entire AC this year with all the cheating. Its a shame really. It only happens once a year and cheaters decide to ruin it.

Good luck today Krawk Island! I know you can do it! If you can manage to beat RI today you could probably take first in the bracket from them and maybe even take their 3rd place spot! You just have to work really hard! I have faith in you all! You can dominate the bracket you are in with some hard work!

YEAH! Haha idk what will happen after the results with TY though, but we will see. Technically if RI does bad in their bracket and we do good, it could be possible of us getting third. Hopefully

Great job on the sweep today guys! If we really do good in this bracket and RI somehow does bad in their bracket.......then there is a chance of anything happening. But we realllyy need to play hard today, yes its TY and they are cheating, but its still possible we could pull a win or 2. There are 3 teams in this bracket we should really play hard against. TY, MD and HW. So lets play a lot against them guys! Dont quit now!

Well guys, we were swept. It doesn't matter though! The daily results have no affect on our overall standings! We just need to play harder and pass the teams that are ahead of us in our bracket! We can do it guys! Let's not lose motivation, we only have a few more days to go! We're up against Faerieland today, and while they should be an easy sweep, you never know. So let's try our best like always!

And guys, our scores are dropping very very low. This is from the daily predictions: It seems as though Darigan Citadel will finally get a break after being swept by both Terror Mountain and Kreludor in a row, by playing a team that is slightly weaker than their previous opponents. However, Darigan Citadel will need to stay on their guard, because their scores have declined to such levels that Faerieland has a reasonable chance of winning at least one game, most likely Slushie Slinger. The Citadel should still dominate overall, though.

I'm not denying that. I just didn't appreciate the comment above that DC obviously would've won if things were "legit," especially after the poor scores they pulled yesterday. It's like saying you're above us and untouchable and insinuates that we can't succeed without some shady business.

 

I just agree with Kittyn up there. Every team is sure to have "cheaters" on them, maybe some more than others, but to imply that a team is succeeding simply because of the cheaters is a slap in the face to the groups of people who DO really try. Like, I myself don't really stop playing until 1:30 in the morning (I'm in the Central time zone so I'm two hours ahead of Neopets) and maybe that's going a little overboard, but I'm not the only who plays their heart out for their team; even some people above have said that there were DCers maxing out multiple games yesterday and while I question how someone can max out three games in one day and still have time for anything else including sleep, unless there's evidence to the contrary, I have to assume that they just really put in the time. It's not totally unthinkable.

 

But to spend so much time on this cheating business sucks some of the fun out of playing because it feels like anytime someone really succeeds, someone else is gonna claim that the team cheated. For me though, being on TM, I'm scared that all this success is setting us up for a fall next year because I know we don't have the large, established and active fanbases of a Darigan Citadel or a Krawk Island. I want to soak all this up for fear that we go back to just being another mediocre team next year.

 

I will stay out of y'alls hair and just go back to focusing on my team but please understand how it feels when a small team experiences success only to have a number of people discredit them and undermine their moments of victory. Not all of us are cheaters.

 

Anyway...I hope you guys can rally and do better because I know you will. I don't think you did yourselves any favors by only getting 4s and 3s yesterday, but I can understand the frustration when you know people on your team have put in the time and effort. However whether you win or lose, all you can really do is make sure you're doing your part for your team so that at least you know you didn't let them down.

Oh i agree with you! I dont think we would of kicked your butts, that was a comment on the neoboards, but i do think the results would have been different. I wish TM the best of luck the rest of this AC and all ACs to come! :laughingsmiley:

Every team has cheaters, ok? Some teams just have groups. RI didnt have a group of cheaters. We played hard yesterday and members of SOTAC and EVRO maxed more than 1 game.

Not every team, and i did not accuse you im just saying you have been accused by people but not by me.

And about TM, those scores just dont seem completely legit although im sure u have lots of people trying. Even TM players on the neoboards admit those scores are probably the result of cheating.

yeah we swepted DC. This is the first time TM beat DC let alone sweep them. Good job guys this just made my day.

And we may have been swept but lets be honest, from TM, it was inevitable this year.

Edit: Someone on the Neoboards posted on the DC minions board saying "In legit Circumstances we all know DC would have kicked TM's butt...it is really sad the AC is how it is this year and nothing has been done about it." I completely agree with this person.

I'm just saying, there are teams above you that could get 3rd. KI or RI could very well get third. KI was ahead of you before and RI almost sweeped you guys.

Yes but those teams are in a lot tougher of a bracket right now (finally DC gets a break from all the hard brackets and RI actually has to be in a hard one) and wont get as many wins with tyrannia and altador there. Plus we almost swept KI so we could take them.

We moved up? Yaaayyy! Finally!

 

Anyway, in the daily predictions TDN made it a point to point out our low scores yesterday but I think they failed to notice that DC also took it easy yesterday (they won with 4s as well). The last time we took it easy, the next matchup we kicked things back into gear so today we should be on our guards. Watch out DC!

We're 7th...how did Terror Mountain pass us? Oh well, we just need to focus on gettting back our spot in the bracket. Once we do that, we'll bounce right back up to 3rd. Come on guys, don't give up now! We can do it!

I am far from giving up! TM may have passed us in the bracket but we are still ahead of them overall and if we just do great these next 2 rounds we will have our 3rd place spot back in no time! I am playing a lot of YYB and SOSD today.

Edit: Just had the best glitch in YYB! When i got the giant upgrade i stayed big the entire time :laughingsmiley:

Yesterday we were in third now we are in 7th...? I have no idea what TNT is doing, but ok. If we dominate in this bracket and rack up a ton of wins we can reclaim that spot because we arent many points away but we all HAVE to try hard today. TM is very good.

TM is also a powerhouse now so we have to worry about them too. And the best we will be able to do is get third considering the top 2 are cheating, so what we need to do is get a ton of wins and maintain third place so we can be on the podium once again! :woot:

You guys are in the top 6 at least. Well unless you are with AL, KI, RI and TY. I'd really want RI to have the easy bracket for once!
