As a Filipino, (Philippines) I can't wait til the olympics! Seriously, all I ask is for our country to get gold. I mean, we've got silver, and bronze, now all we need is that shining gold medal! Lol, but the sport I'm looking forward to in the olympics is Basketball. And since my country is not participating in that sport... (go figure) USA! USA!

My top 4 would have to be:
1. Darigan Citadel - I think DC has the best chance of winning (not being biased... or maybe just a tinsy little bit) cause they've never placed lower than 7th and have been strong each year. They've shown that All stars and freeloaders almost never affect them cause they're such a big team. I believe DC has the best shot of winning the cup twice
2. Krawk Island. Just like DC, KI could also win it twice. Also never placing lower than 7th, KI has a legit shot of winning the cup twice.
3. Lost Desert - Lost Desert showed that ACVI was just a matter of freeloaders leaving them. And they showed everyone that their back and a are in it to win it. Lost Desert could very well win the cup twice with lots of hard work and dedication
4. Kreludor - Kreludor is just awesome, I actually couldn't decide whether to pick LD or KD, then I came to a conclusion. KD has been dominant in EVERY AC they've been too, so good job to them. But once the freeloaders kick in, and once the All stars leave, KD would just be a medium sized team. A dedicated team here and there, but in the end, KD would need lots of more hard working team members to have a chance to go back and repeat.
The bottom 3
Roo Island - I can almost never predict this team, so if they make a comeback next year, great, if not, oh well.
Virtupets - Small team, great story, doesn't have the size, oh well, at least they have the heart of a champion
Haunted Woods - Man, I'd love for these guys to rise. But each year, they just kept on either going to tier 3 or tier 2. So for now, I think I have to put them as the team that doesn't have the best chance of winning the AC. But hey, never count HW out, they might just surprise you ;)

If you count a movie I saw, but didn't watch fully, it was Inception. I've seen that movie many many times, but never had the will to go through the whole movie :P
But if you're saying what was the last movie you fully watched, it was The Amazing Spider-man. Really good. Not sure if it was as good as the original, but it was up there :D

1. KI (KI are the most consitent team in ac history they are team when they get on roll have top three creditinals )
2. KL ( even though my team SK almost swept them twice i see them as a emerging powerhouse in the making)
3. DC ( i expect dc to break the pattern to place below there standards after a very good seasoin the year before .)
4. MD( i see MD have a minor fall due to attention they will recieve , they are more consitent then ever before and brilliant record in yyb and slushies should help close the first tier .)

The only thing I would have to disagree from your predictions is KI. I don't think they'll still be on top. Podium? Possibly. Champs? Still not seeing it. Their freeloaders will leave, but their top 3 all stars got frozen and we saw what happened to them when it happened. I can see KI on the podum, but not champs. But hey, it's my opinion, and in the end, I could still be wrong. And knowing myself, me being wrong is a big possibilty :P

You're predictions are good, but can you try to put commas, cause I'm having a hard time reading since I don't know when to stop and read the next line. But other than that, it's good :D. I too made my early predictions, so if you wanna check them, you can go to my homepage (or here at TDN).
I really love reading early predictions, cause I'm 100% sure none of us will be exactly correct about the predictions. If someone got their predictions 100% right... *BOWS* lol :laughingsmiley:
And I think all of us would change our predictions if TNT made a new system in the AC. Oh well, we're gonna have to wait until May to find that out :P

Well yeah, at first I thought it was weird, but I do have 3 reasons why I ranked AL at 15th.
First is that there has been some talk going on about all-stars from other teams (not a group, just individuals) joining AL. Second, If I told you in AC 6 that Kiko Lake would end up at 6th place in AC 7, would you have believed me or not?
And the third is largely fictional, but, in a forum thread in TDN last year, in which we forum members were asked to do some creative background things about certain teams, I came up with a meaning for Altador's logo/seal. Altador's logo/seal has 8 rays, and those 8 rays means 8 years of doing bad, then they'd surprise everyone and finish very strongly in AC9. Next year is AC8, so if that explanation of the seal would become true, they should at least show even just that sign of doing so. :)
Note: I'm not trying to convince you guys to support my prediction for Altador, but simply explaining my prediction more because I do think at first glance it may seem unreasonable.

Yeah. I was surprised before when I found out that only 3 STEALTH people joined KL.
I've also considered Altador for a 15th place finish. Something inside of me just says that Altador will break out of the consolation tier.
While I respect your opinion of AL being 15th, don't you think that's still kinda high. I mean 16th is ok, but 15th? It's still uhm.... weird, no offence AL fans. I guess we'll just have to wait and see next year. Though if that happened, I would be like :woot:

Ok, I since I can't change up my predictions in my page. (Cause I want to keep my version one the way it is) I'll just make my version 1.5 predictions here (Yes 1.5 :P)
The reason I did this is cause of MYSTERY ISLAND AND SHENKUU. I really like MI, but all of you guys said that they'll lose STEALTH, and thus, I have to downgrade them :(
1. Meridell (I really believe it)
2. Darigan (I'm taking a leap of faith into my team)
3. Lost Desert (They will rise)
4 Krawk Island (Might make the podium)
5 Maraqua ( Can contend, but maybe not enough to contend to the podium)
6 Mystery Island ( I didn't know they would lose STEALTH, but since they probably will, it's gonna be a hard fall, but if their dedicated players keep it up, they could still be in the top 6)
7. Tyrannia ( Unfairly placed,has a potential to contend)
8 Kiko Lake ( UNDECIDED) (Cause not sure if they lose the all star group or if they gain it)
9. Kreludor (Read my V1 predictions :D)
10. Roo Island (Yes)
11. Haunted Woods (I'm still IFFY about this)
12. Virtupets (Slow Rise)
13. SHENKUU (Ok, I finally DECIDED to replace SK with TM. Sorry TM fans)

I'm going to assume Kreludor free-falls from grace like all former winners, Mystery Island will probably lose STEALTH and some All-Stars who fear freeloaders so they will probably fall. Meridell may gain SOTAC and keep Neo[Removed] (last I checked they were choosing where to go already and staying with MD was an option that was liked, although they did mention maybe Faerieland or Altador). STEALTH could try Kiko Lake fully this time which would make them extremely difficult, an already good at sides team with extra YYB power? Deadly.
The problem is we don't know what tournament style TNT would do, if they get enough negative reaction they may scrap the brackets entirely or work to fix them. Or they could just say "Darts pick the winners" and you'd only play for prize points.
Pre-Cup/Pre-Style Known Predictions:
1. Meridell (with SOTAC/Neo[Removed])
2. Kiko Lake (with STEALTH)
3. Maraqua (MI's All-Stars)
4. Tyrannia (I think the fact that they upset the top 2 teams and their side record will attract players)

Really? I thought STEALTH would join them for at least one more year? Wow, that really changes up my predictions. Guess I have to write them in my V2 predictions. Sad though for MI. :(

I still don't understand how Kiko Lake got second place in the 4th bracket, Shenkuu for example had a much much much better record in the 4th bracket, kiko lake had zero yyb wins where shenkuu had I believe 3 or so and kiko lake got swept at least once maybe twice. I looked at the results side by side (comparing just the 4th bracket kiko lake was in) and we should of been last or second to last in that bracket not 2nd. IMO TNT messed up and it should of been Shenkuu that got second in that bracket and thus the points associated with that. I'm a Kiko Lake all-star so I'm not a sour grapes shenkuu player.
That is the main reason everyone was complaining, the brackets were never fair to anyone. It helped teams like HW, MI, and MD, but did not help SK, RI, DC, and other teams. If it were the old format, SK would be much higher than 16th.

And yes, it was unfair to a lot of teams. I really wish TNT would change the system :/

Mirsha is reported to have had a nervous breakdown after playing so well in the competition and is currently spending some time alone in the misty mountains to recover her mental and spiritual health.
:0 The brackets should change, cause if the format changes, I'm totally putting SK on a higher position. But if the bracket still stays the same, I'll still put them higher, I'm already re thinking it. :)

With Meridell's 10th anniversary coming up, a lot of people are thinking we'll get another Meridell-Darigan conflict.

I know it's really early for pre-cup predictions, but gave it a try. Feel free to agree or disagree. Remember though, I may change my predictions considering we still have a whole year before ACVIII starts. So yeah, here you go :D

Oh, and there's two teams I'm really really not sure of. It's SK and TM. Right now, I'm thinking about switching they're spots, 14th to SK and 16th to TM. And also about MT.... agh!! So much predictions not sure of. Oh well, stay tuned for V2 which will come out in the next few months. Or maybe even next year :P

They need another Darigan vs Meridell war. Cause I'm pretty sure Darigan and Meridell have some unfinished business to take care off. And, plus, Darigan needs a new makeover, they have so few things to explore in DC. And I would also want to wonder what to do with LI. There HAS to be a reason why you can't explore that land, I mean why won't just TNT delete it if there's nothing special about it :P

We had the Krawk Island plot last year, just after the AC, and FL's make-over wasn't too long ago, and there's the never-ending Altador Plot. XDD
But yeah, I get your point. All I want to know really, is what's going on in Lutari Island. xDD
Yeah, but it wasn't a big change, I mean, it was a change, but not really big, if you know what I mean :P
And yes, please make Lutari Island be free to be explored already. And make them have an AC team!

Yeah it's ok. All of us have different opinions. But I just want TNT to at least do something about the AC and in neopets. It's been so long since they made a big change.
All we can really do, is hope they do something. I mean, when was the last time we had a plot war? A long long long time ago. Or we discovered a new place? That was about 2-4 years ago. But anyways, I just hope TNT listens to us, that's just my wish. Cause I know TNT means well, they're human, and I know if I was in their shoes, I would panic after all these hates that I'm getting. But if TNT gives in to our ideas to make the AC AND Neopets better, I think everyone would be happy :D

I dislike the creepers. I think everyone dislikes creepers. One minute, your making a good house, then one minute, a creeper shows up and blows it up. That's why if I play on my own, I always set it to peaceful. And I'm already creating maps and so far, I've gotten over 200 DOWNLOADS! That's inspired me to make more maps! :D
