  1. It's bad, because I keep finishing the first level on Hard with enough bonus points to know that if I just get through the game, I'll beat the score. But my plugin keeps crashing! I tried updating my plugins, but that isn't helping. Maybe a different browser? What is everyone playing on? I've got Firefox, which usually suits me well, but it's failing me right now in my time of need. D:

The exact same thing has been happening to me for the past 30 hours... o.o I am so sick of kou-jong and failing flash plugins i think i might die. sidenote: I'm on internet explorer. :whofarted: I'm seriously considering downloading chrome.

  2. I'd like to be a writer because i can't imagine doing anything else, but I'll probably end up working at a local walmart. lol. I know I'm gonna study arabic and foreign studies, so maybe I'll end up a translator. (fine by me ^_^)

  3. According to Jellyneo, you both have to challenge the same person - AAA or Abigail - before you send the team challenge request. Then one of you sends the invite and once that's been accepted by the other person, you're good to go.

(So, in other words, you go to the Daily Dare page. challenge AAA*, have your teamate challenge AAA, and then one of you can send the team invite. Then accept it. If you don't both challenge AAA first, then you'll get the error message:

"Your invitation to --- can't be sent because the challenger has not accepted the same challenge as you")

Also, it doesn't matter whether you play AAA or Abigail, but you both must challenge the same one. :) Hopefully that clears it up? ^_^

  4. I got three angelpuss and a bunch of skulls. I wonder if King roo died??? heehee :geeky_evil:

I want a baby blu and a veespa so bad!!

Yerp, you can see a compiled list of prizes they give here :) You can click on 10 bugs, after that they stop showing up. Hopefully it's 10 bugs a day, and different prizes show up tomorrow!

It is 10 different bugs each day, according to Jellyneo... hopefully they're right ^^

i tried clicking on them yesterday and it wouldn't let me, may have just been a glitch i'll try it today and see if i can

edit- just tried now and its now letting me got mostly skulls waffles and sandwiches

the clicking on bugs became available today ^_^ I thought the same thing when I accidently clicked on one today and got a prize, whereas yesterday i clicked on every one i saw out of curiosity and got nothing.

  5. Last movie I saw was "The Woman in Black" just a few hours ago.

Plot was easy to figure out and only jump scares scared my heart xD

It was alright...I loved making comments about Harry needing to do magic haha!

lol - I hate that actor. Ruined the Harry Potter movies... (except the ones when he was little)

My husband and I just recently watched The Adventures of Tintin. It was great! Very cute movie with lots of little twists and the best thing is that it wasn't super predictable. You know those movies where you know what's going to happen before you're even a third of the way through? This was not one of those movies. It was rather unrealistic at points, but hey it's based on a comic strip! I really liked it and would recommend it as a lighthearted, happy movie.

I was debating whether to see it or not, but... I don't know. It's not in theatres anymore, is it?

Anyhow, the last movie I saw was Singin' In the Rain for the millionth time. <3 ♪ moses supposes his toeses are roses... ♪

    heehee

  6. it's actually really really good and very emotionally-packed ... but I'm biased towards Hugo ... which I think deserves it a 'tad' more :)

lol I'll have to see it, then. I do love the emotionally-packed movies... :P I was more biased towards Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but obviously THAT wasn't happening. It wasn't even nominated. :ohno:

On a different note, the last movie I saw was Eight Below. I've watched it so many times that I shouldn't cry anymore, but gosh that movie can be sad. :crying_blow:

  7. I finally got around to seeing The Help. I liked it a lot, but I feel the director was lacking something... all the scenes where it flashed back to Skeeter & Constantine seemed a little out of place. But otherwise, it was great - especially since I'm working on being a *published* writer, too. ^^

I watched "The Artist" ... I don't understand why it got an Oscar for Best Movie ........... :/

I feel like they just liked how it was black and white and were being overdramatic about it... just a tad. But I haven't seen it yet. Was it okay? Or did it completely suck?

  8. Recently my sister has refused to listen to anything not classical, so I've been forced to conform when around her... luckily for me, this means I get to enjoy the countless orchestral (and piano) pieces on my ipod that I rarely ever sit down and listen to. :)

    currently: Vivaldi - Winter

  9. It was fab! I read it in 3 nights, stayed up till 1 in the morning every night reading under the covers, when I had to be at work in the morning!! It was (on the whole) a very happy and upbeat book, some tragedy, but mostly a much more positive look at Gypsy life, the one thing that really struck me, was how FREE they were in childhood, made me quite envious!

If you read it, let me know what you think! :)

I'll be sure to read it now that I've heard it's that good! Just as soon as I get a copy... ^^

As for Brave New World, I finished it late last night. I'm glad I stuck to it, because the ending was very good. That seems to always be the case with the older satires on society. Player Piano was the same way for me: the beginning was dull, the middle was interesting, and finally the ending was highly amusing. I will say that my earlier statement was completely off! The solidarity was not only through DNA, but through drugs inducing happiness and built-in conditioning against the horrible or fantastic parts of life... I can't imagine living without emotions, or art, or religion. Those are really all I have. And honestly, I think I like suffering just as much as I like the fun or happy stuff. It's not fun, but without the downs there'd be no ups.

So, overall I thought it was rather good.

Welll... on to the next read. I'm not sure what it'll be yet - either The Count of Monte Cristo or Divergent, or... maybe if I see something else at the library, that instead.

Update: I just finished Life of Pi and loved it! ^_^ And I finally borrowed a copy of Divergent. XD

  10. Another question: If I were to go on vacation in another state/country, would I be able to log in from the hotel?

As long as the area/hotel has internet connection, yes. I've logged in to neopets in multpile countries and haven't had a problem. You may just want to double check that you know your neopets account's birthday (if it's different than in real life) and that you have selected your site preference for "Login Birthday Prompt" because neopets will generally ask for your birthday if you're loggging in from a "new" location. (which is a pain if you forget it, trust me)

You can find the login birthday prompt preference option on this page: http://www.neopets.c...eferences.phtml

  11. I always open chests when I get them. I mean, it's not like I actually went out and bought the chest for 40k, so I don't technically loose anything... and just think of all the rare items you can get from a chest! :woot: I take the risk everytime. Once I get the rare items, then maybe I'll sell the chests for 40k. Maybe.

  12. OH MY GOSH!!! she's SO pretty!!! And i don't even like pink! You fit the background and cherry blossom foreground together perfectly with her fur color. :)

As a sidenote, I have that same scurvy pirate jacket (or... whatever it's called)! I'm glad it looks good on Xweetoks... or should I say pink Xweetoks? XD Congrats!

  13. ooh! Fun! Here are my votes:

    Best Feline

Wocky. I mean, the old version's eyes were better, but still. It's cute, it's fluffy, and it makes me think of home. And the Kougra seems more like a mini ugly version of a tiger, otherwise I might have picked it. =P

    Best Dragon

I like the Draik here. I mean, the Shoyru is cute, but not as cool. The rest are just blah.

    Best Insect

The Ruki takes the win here. It just really reminds me of that one kids' movie called Antz. I don't know why that makes me like it more.

    Best Dinosaur

I guess I have to pick one, so.. the Chomby. I honestly don't find much appeal in either pet. The Chomby is just cuter, so I almost like it. ^_^

    Best Bird

The Pteri really stands out in this category. I like the Eyrie, but it's too much like some Narnia, Lord of the Rings creature. It's a bit too.. epic. Plus, the design of the Pteri is just awesome.

    Best Horse

I choose the Peophin. I mean, I don't particularly like the tail, but it's better than the girly look and the unicorn-like horn of the Uni. :P

    Best Fish

The Koi is my favorite. Its fins are just so... fish-like. The Koi (especially Maraquan) looks like my pet Betta. <3

    Best Dog

I'm going to have to go with the Lupe. I like wolves & dogs equally, and the Lupe definitely looks more like a wolf, so it was a tough choice. Gelerts come a close second.

  14. I must be the only one that watched Big Miracle

lol I haven't seen it, but I know I've played the silly puzzle game on neopets too many times to count! Easy neopoints. XD

The last movie I saw was The Prince of Egypt. The music in that movie is soooooo good, it's ridiculous. <3

and as a sidenote, Hugo won quite a few Oscars. not my cup of tea.
