So I have been saving for a few weeks now I think for a Faerie Xweetok Morphing Potion. I've saved nearly 500k so far. I have been doing really well not spending any NP at all. I wasn't even tempted. Until today... Gah! For some reason the urge to recustomize my Kougra came over me. I started with things I already have in my closet but... It's not enough! So far I have been able to resist. Thankfully.

 

I figured there a lot of us TDNers saving for things we really want. Maybe we can post our goals here and even find some support in moments of weakness. lol

"Nothing of Interest" for me for like a week now... *sigh*

At this moment? A Faerie Xweetok Morphing Potion for my Blumaroo which is something I am already saving for. :-) And if there was any left over maybe some of the backgrounds I've been wanting. Other than that I can't think of anything, I'm a super saver typically.

That letter is great! I hope you made a copy to show your land lord in case things don't get better but I think they will. Fingers crossed for you! I'm currently listening to my noisy neighbors and their children (for some reason they are not in school today) stomp around and scream at each other. My apartment has been shaking since 8am EST so I totally sympathize with your situation. Best of Luck!!!

Okay seeing as my Habitarium seems to be working fine I think I'll close it now so this mass die off doesn't happen! Eep!

Living in an apartment is the worst! I'm sorry those things are happenng to you. We have the same noise issues where I live. It's a side by side town house and there is no sound proofing between the walls. I can hear the neighbors kids screaming, talking, playing. I can hear them fighting with each other. They have music going at all hours, even like 2am when I would think the kids should be asleep! I can hear doors shutting, cabinets shutting, walking up and down the stairs. I can even hear when they flush the toilet! So I totally symathize.

 

 

I'd maybe go to your neighbors and have one of them simply walk on the floor/turn the tv on in your apartment with the other listening downstairs, then switch them. That way they can see it's not you stomping around or making excess noise, you're just going about your day to day business. Maybe offer to get a rug of some kind? If you're kind about it I'm sure you'll get a completely different reaction than going through your landlords/courts etc. and it'll probably be resolved a lot quicker.

 

I agree with this. If they are students they are probably young and don't know how quiet you really need to be in an apartment. I bet you you guys can work it out. :-) Good luck!

I'm on level 41 and I think it has taken me two monhs to get there. I can't leave mine running because it totally frys my lap top. I'm terrified of being locked out!

Hey all,

 

I have two Secret Lab Map Pieces. The one with the Coconut Gods and the one with the end of the whales tail. What would these be worth by themselves? The Auctions didn't help me much and at the trading post most people have fulls sets or really rare pieces up. Any help on this would be great! Thanks!

Thanks! Have to say, since I made the decision to buy it I've been smiling. Can't wait! But yea, I think it may take me a couple of months between, games, habitarium and my shop. I already have 100,000 to start with. Hopefully I won't have too much temptation to spend... Usually once I put NP in the bank they don't come out. Thanks for the encouragement guys!

So I have never really saved for anything on Neopets before. Well, nothing that was over 100,000NP anyway. But I think I want to save for Faerie Xweetok Morphing Potion and change my Blumaroo Adraegyn. I'm so excited! I hope it doesn't take me too long!

It definitely could have been much worse!! I'm not planning on buying any of the items except maybe the Nedler Plushie. It was the free one from the Neopies Voting. I really liked it.... Just bad Neopets luck this week.

I just realized some of the items were from this years Advent Calendar too... All Well. I'm never using the quick stock form again. I know I didn't click the Check All button because there were still items left in my inventory when it refreshed. It's just super frustrating.

Yea. I checked twice to make sure I didn't check anything that I wanted to keep. I know I used the form right. The toys weren't too valuable or anything but I really liked them. Just some cool plushies and a few neopies prizes like the Needler Plushie which I though was cute... Thankfully I put all the stuff I really like in my SDB.... I know it's not as bad as getting hacked or your account frozen but man it depressed me...

 

I sent a ticket to TNT just to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I just used the quick stock form to donate a bunch of items and it donated all the items I DID NOT CHECK!!! When it went back to my inventory all my good toys were gone and I was left with a bunch of anchor management book!s!!! AAHHH!!!!!! I'm never using the quick stock form again. Ugh.....

Oh no!!! I'm so sad for you!! I don't know what I would do of that happened to me... I feel like changing my password every week now. I hope everything works out okay in the end :-(

That awkward moment when you are IRL driving down the road and see snowflake string lights on someones house and you say out loud, "Oh they got the Ice Gareland. Good for them!" Thats when you now you have been on Neopets too long!

Maybe it's a result of the maintenance work they were doing yesterday? Anywho, hope it clears up soon, I wanted some bargains from Ye Olde Second Hand Shoppe

It's been slow for hours and hours. I have resigned myself not opening Neopets again until later this evening.

Still super laggy for me. I have manged to clean the entire house though which is a plus. Guess all my neo shopping will have to wait until later. :-)
