Hit all-star for the third year in a row. Trying to bring myself to want to play some more....I really don't want to but I know I should. I'm so sad that we're not doing that good this year.

I noticed that too... weird! I didn't even play at all yesterday. Actually, every single time I don't play, we end up doing better against the other team. I'm cursed. :laughingsmiley: Good job on the wins though, team!

NICE stats paperdoll66! I just noticed that our foward, Elon, is now SECOND in the goals per game standings! As Maraqua Can't win the AC this year, maybe we can boost Elon to 1st in goals per game average? That would be something fun to work toward! :D

Agreed. I think I hit the cap against Faerieland. I'm rank 14 and still plugging away, thought likewise, I'm getting pretty tired of YYB. Of course after 700+ games/wins and to have 9 days and a few hours left..... yeah. I still have to play about 56 games per day to reach All-Star on the last day. Days I hit the cap of course, brings that average down a bit. Thankfully. lol There's a town festival tomorrow, so I hope I can find time to play, and hopefully NOT be too tired to play as well. lol

My highest Goal count was in AC VII, 8,000-even. So I've already blown that stat away. lol
 
I've had a couple games of SS and MSN in from days when I had time after reaching the Cap on YYB,
 
I HOPE we can place a bit higher by the day of the final standings too. I would be curious to know, how many people signed up for each team. And if the scores are tallied proportional to the number of people who signed up for each competing team. That would be interesting.

Not being able to sweep Faerieland was pretty disappointing, especially since we fell to 12th place, but it's nice to get a few more wins. I really hope we get a win in YYB against Shenkuu today, so I'm going to try to hit the cap. I'm still optimistic that we can at least get to 4th in our bracket.

Same here! This is my GPG average as of this morning.... 10.77538461538462. Down from over 10.8+ due to lots of darigans and some annoying lags that have really kept my scores down. Well, 13 and under anyway. lol Mostly I seem to be scoring 11 and under on the recent teams. :-\ 7004 goals in 650 games/wins. I've noticed that Elon has been working his way up in his GPG ranks. He's in 3rd place today. :)

My GPG has been hovering in the 10.7s for the last few days. I just made it to Level 14. I played a ton of YYB yesterday, so I'm glad we managed to draw.

Thanks! Getting to 16 was big for me this year! 15 was my previous best. Honestly, after you got 17, I was inspired to try too, managed to get lucky one time in scoring 17. We must be getting lots of practice! Because I've had 6 games of 16. I never would've thought THAT possible! XD I'd like to get to 18, if that's possible. I JUST got to Rank 11 before the Neopian clock struck midnight. Phew! 800 more games for All-Star!

My GPG is about 10.79, which is down a bit from the last time I checked because my last few games had a lot of darigan yooyus coming onto the field. -_-

17?! Holy cow, congrats! Certainly beats my two 16 scores. lol I'm closing in on Rank 9. Had an off-day so I started late. :-\ But I intend on doing more games in a bit.
 
EDIT: paperdoll66, I JUST got my very first 17-0 game too! :D

Even though I'm not thrilled with how we did yesterday, I'm really happy with my own scores. I beat my own high score for YYB by scoring 17 goals in one game, which I didn't think was even possible. Normally, I would take a day off, since it won't count for the team, but I was looking forward to playing today. I'm almost at rank 12, so I'm definitely going to reach that today.

Yeah! Seeing 4 wins for the first time this season is great! :D I just noticed though, that Elon has dropped to 5th, 5TH! in his average goals per game. It stinks! ;)
 
Oh well, all we can do is keep playing and not get too discouraged. :)

Even though we didn't play that great, it's nice to see four wins. I'm hoping that we can get a few more wins today against Terror Mountain. My YYB entertainment for this afternoon is The Amazing Spider-Man.

I'm mostly finished for tonight, but I might play a few more MSN games. I reached the YYB cap again and rank 11. Orange is the New Black has been great for the number of games I play each day.

Yeah, I can't believe how poorly the team is doing in the standings. :( Even Elon, is stuck STILL, in 4th place as far as goals per game averages go. I'm doing almost double what his GPG average is. Seriously, My GPGA is 10.2840. I figure, the more goals I get, the faster the clock winds down, which means I can fit in more YYB games in less time. I was inspired to keep track of my goals average because of Elon's poor performance. I mean, we didn't win last year, but at least Elon was tops when it came to scoring goals! :) At least I THINK that was last year. lol
 
Anyway, I'm about 16 games away from Rank 7. I was just taking a little break to check things here.
 
Keep going everyone! Even if we (the team) don't do so well this year, we can still play our best to boost our individual rankings! And who knows, maybe doing that we'll (the team) do better than we think we'll do collectively. ;)

It seems like avatars greatly outweigh loyalty. Loyalty shmoyalty! If there are avatars involved, everybody will drop their loyalty to get all of them. I never understood the point of having to have every single avatar in existence, especially when quite a few are long retired and you can't get them anymore, they're not that special, they're overrated, they're just 50X50 little blinking pixels...I don't get other players.
 
So no, I don't think avatars would be a good idea. The AC is already greatly messed up to begin with, avatars for each team would just mess it up even more. We don't need any more team bandwagoning.
 
 
This. An avatar out of loyalty, I think, is a great idea. It means that you can't just earn an avvie by joining a team, but have to stick with said team for a long time in order to obtain it. As long as it isn't team specific of course, because if it was, then you'd have to switch every few years after you've earned the Loyalty avatar for another team. Nope. Do not want.
 
That said, I think I'd probably only choose the teams I like the most and get the avvies for my favorite teams. I've been quite tempted at the thought of joining the Darigan or HW teams, but my loyalty to Maraqua prevails in the end. Should something like this happen, I'd probably play for a few teams for a year each for the avvies and then return to Maraqua. So...I'd only switch for some of the avvies, but not for all of them.

Congrats on reaching the cap! I hope so too. I noticed that Elon is 4th in the Goals per game ranking. I think it was last year that he was tops pretty much the entire AC. I guess we gotta get more goals with him, boost him up in those rankings! :D Just checked my numbers and his average per game with me is. 7.3867 (I'm stopping after 4 decimals because that's what the charts stop at) My GPG average stands now at 9.3867. Not a bad improvement over a few days ago! I'll make it to over 1000 goals in my 107th game. Unless I get a couple Darigan yooyus that eat up the time. lol
 
I'm currently Rank 3, have not had a lot of time to play today. :( I know a couple people in my guild are higher in ranking, not sure of their other stats though as to what support games they may have been playing, but every little bit helps. :)

Edit: Just got my 1st and 2nd 14-point games against Kreludor! :D Even if I don't make All-Star, again, One of my goals is to meet or beat my all-time best score of 15 goals. (From AC VII) Even though this is an edit, I'll reiterate; GO MARAQUA! :D

I hit the cap on YYB today. I really hope that we can manage to at least get a draw in that game against Moltara.

I'm really happy with how well we did yesterday, especially considering how glitchy things were. Krawk Island is definitely not an easy team to go up against. We usually have a slow start, but I think we did really well.
