  1. Their pre-order deals range from great (in game suit and gun for Mass Effect 2), to rather useless (banana Wiimote holder for Donkey Kong Country Returns). They're also popular because they sell used games for a cheap price, and they allow you to trade in games for cash. I tend to go to Gamestop rather often. And the stores are small. They kinda look like convenience stores, only with a crap load of games. New game smell. It smells nice.

There are hundreds of Gamestops here in NY.

A banana Wiimote holder. That sounds a little gimmicky but cool because we don't have that kind of thing over here.

Only another 90ish days till Pokemon gets released yay! Then Armageddon, the place where all out Pokemon players play at the tournament.

Has anybody here competed in a Pokemon tournament?

  2. Awesome. Let us know how it goes.

The whole, supply/demand thing can be rather un-fun. Tons of people want Draiks and Krawk, but they're difficult to get since the ways to get them are so limited. And the limited ways to get them, get expensive, making it even harder. Such a vicious cycle. :laughingsmiley:

    Yes... very vicious indeed.

I suppose some people want Draiks just cause it makes them look richer. Luckily I don't think anybody here is like that!

    Draiks just look extra cool.

  3. Cameron = Crusher, another mod.

Only Europe gets it before the US. We get in on march 6th. NZ gets it 4 days after the US.

April 2nd was the date given to me at GameStop a while back. I can only guess they moved it up.

Oh, Crusher! We live in the same country...

GameStop is like the biggest game shop in USA?

An earlier date is always fine by everybody right?

  4. European and Australian release dates! Get this- Europe gets BW on March 4th. Seriously, this is the first time they get a mains series Pokemon game before the US. The Aussies and Kiwis (Australia and New Zealand for those of you who don't talk to Cameron on a regular basis) get them March 10th.

    Cameron????

But... yay! It's not uncommon for us to get stuff before the US. It's just that this is a first for Pokemon to release it to Europe and NZ before USA. :O

  5. I like underscores! Its just that on TDN, I can have a display name without underscores.

I agree with Spiritzie, sometimes those additional letters with underscores make the name just that little bit better.

PS. I haven't been here in ages, so hi!

  6. I love that everyone voted for subbed xD Thanks the economy and such, I had no choice but to watch subbed anime since future titles most likely won't be dubbed and there's a lot of great series out there only in Japanese! I just finished Itazura na KISS and I fell in love with the anime and don't mind reading subs at all!

When I was a kid though, even I'll admit a few dubbed anime were alright and some were just really bad...who remembers in pokemon that they called riceballs "doughnuts"? xD

Either way, a few anime titles I'll accept the dub but overall, subs is the way to go ^^

Oh! I remember that... it looked nothing like a doughnut.

    Onigiri is the best!
