So I realize that no one is really sure how to exactly get the Neopet Smash Achievement but it seems that the common consensus is that you need to do around 2000 damage on hard to get the achievement but I was sure I was well over that the over days and started keeping track today and I've added over 2100 damage to Apathy just this afternoon and still no achievement. :sad01_anim: I've also got 270 battles on easy and 274 battles on hard.

 

So anybody else having problems getting the achievement or have any other suggestions on how I might be able to get it?

Hey draik friends! Look at all you guys getting FFQs and what not. I'm still thinking about getting a second draik, girl this time so I can use some of the dresses that I have but I'm still thinking about going for the Lutari morphing potion first. Got a ways to go for either of them though.

 

PS We're playing maraqua in the AC today and you guys are SO cute on the YYB court :laughingsmiley:

Haha, look, I made us a group photo! It's ghetto and really quickly thrown together but amusing none the less.

The white outline around all the draiks is really annoying but I wasn't taking the time to play around with it now. Maybe in the future if I get bored sometime.

So I'm loving that the mouse options to control yooyu ball is back but I'm having a few issues with it and can't tell if it's me or if its the controls.

 

When I'm trying to get to the ball when it's in a weird place and none of my players are particularly close, it still keeps the player I just had active even though he's the furthest away. The instruction say left click to 'activate' the closest player but quite frankly it's not changing who I'm moving. Anyone else having that issue?

 

I enjoy the 'bust' feature or whatever you call it when you hit the spacebar in keyboard mode to steal the ball. Again the instruction say to left click to do this with the mouse but I have not yet got one player to do this. Are they lying?

 

I'm guessing that you also can't play in a mixed mode scenario because when I'm moving around with the mouse and hit the 'L' key, it doesn't actually give me control of the goalie. Any tips on how to activate the goalie quicker with the mouse, I seem to keep missing the area I'm supposed to click to activate him.

 

Pretty much most of my current problems seem to stem from the left clicking functions and I am playing on a laptop with a track pad with no 'click button' meaning I have to tap my track pad to click. I'm wondering if this is my problem or it's the game? I suppose I'll go look for a mouse eventually to see if it clears up my issues.

I think the countdown clock was evil. Without it I would just be thinking hmm, AC will be starting soon, that will be fun, but with the countdown clock I'm like COME ON TIME! WHY ARE YOU SO SLOW, except I imagine I look somewhat like the crazy techo fan more than this :woot:

Thank you. I think it turned out rather well. I only had one yooyu on the left but it looked rather unbalanced so I decided to put in in again on the right. Maybe I'll draw something else eventually for the other side.

We usually get some sort of free wearable when we sign up for a team correct? I do still need to purchase some more roo island backgrounds for my pets on my side accounts. I've randomly got a maraqua background for some reason :weird:

Correct on the no space faerie from NC cards. But in regards to the plushie, sorry but that is incorrect info. The small plushies that give out a key quest token WILL NOT give you a space faerie code. I've redeemed a few and can confirm that. You need to get a bigger plushie that does not give you a token to get the space faerie. You also get them from other merchandise, basically any item that says you will get a 'rare item code' and not a 'key quest token'

While we're on the subject, don't count us out yet, Roo Island for the win! I mean, we got a whole new island this year so I say more good things will come :woot: :king:

Yeah, I suspect that I will ultimately be buying new ones. I guess I'll have to check out how much the tub stuff costs. If I do end up getting new ones I will probably end up waiting at least a few months though sadly.

Well, its official, my rainboots have leaks in both boots :crying_blow: I suppose I've pretty much suspected it for a while but I went for my walk, which usually is about 30 minutes, yesterday when it was pouring rain and had a wonderful time but when I got back in, my boots were in fact quite wet on the inside. My jacket is sadly not completely waterproof anymore either. Seesh, everything seems to go at the same time.

 

Anyone ever try to fix rainboots? I read that you can use the stuff you use to re-waterproof bathtubs but I'm not sure if it will work and these boots were on like 15 bucks from Target. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and get new ones?

Hi friends! I feel like I haven't been here in a while but it seems like for the most part people have had fairly pleasant weekends which is always happy news. I've also enjoyed the 5 scores, haven't utilized it quite as much as would have been nice though.

 

Side note: I just made a delicious scrambled egg and sauteed mushroom 'pizza' on some delicious naan as the 'pizza' crust :yum: (I love that smiley, best idea ever!)

Yeah, I've got to start getting back into the habit of at least playing a few games a day and stop spending, although I did get a bunch of avatars recently :whistle:

Aww, so many new draiks! I love Freyyr but I have been tempted about getting a girl draik next. I guess I should actually start saving again to make that happen.

So I've decided Rusano deserves a non-zapped petpet and I am not sure what would go best with him. He's a baby chomby and his full name is Rusano_the_Wise. I've also got a petpetpet that I got from the bugs in the game room and was tempted to give him to Rusano too. So any and all thoughts are welcome on what you think is the best petpet for Rusano, suggest away!

That is way to cute. I just peaked at it on openNeo but wasn't impressed with the eyes on a draik but covering up that little awkward bit of the eyes with the wig is genius and makes her look gorgeous! Too Cute!

Sadly yeah, if it's no longer in the mall then the only way to get one would be to trade for one. You can make a board on the nc mall neoboard and if someone has one they want to trade for they'll tell you what they'd want for it. Most people over there are nice so it won't be too bad if you can find one. Most people trade items for 'gb caps' which are gift box caps that are available to purchase from the mall if you don't have one hanging about, and of course you'd need a gift box to send the item too.

 

That item may be available as one of the possible items to get from a capsule but even if it is, there is a very tiny possibility that you would actually get the item you wanted.
