concessus Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Okay, so I've tried pretty much every constellation finder that I can find on the web. Some don't load, others give me the message: "bad star data?" what might i be doing wrong?

Since I know ours is working... the Altador Plot is very old now, a lot of the other finders around the web don't work anymore. If you're still getting the "bad star data" message with our finder then make sure you've visited all the points you have to go to update your data (the Archivist, etc) and also that you're copying ALL your star data... it might be as simple as you're missing the last line of data or something! Apart from that, I'm not really sure what else it could be. Where are you up to in the plot? Like, have you found some constellations already, or are you just starting?
shadovv Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Yeah im having a problem with this as well. For some reason when I complete the Farmer constellation and submit it, it won't accept it, Ive checked to see of it is correct and it is! so what can i be doing wrong?
concessus Posted June 3, 2008 Author Posted June 3, 2008 okay. so i got the constellation finder to work (yay!!) but now it won't let me click in the corner. is there some sore of time rule or something?
antiaircraft Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 @concessus: Uh... what are you trying to click on? @shadovv: If your star coordinates are correct but the constellation doesn't register, then you've probably made a small mistake in connecting the stars at some point in the constellation. Try making sure that your constellation looks exactly like the screenshot in TDN's guide. :)
