These are my coordinats... please help! I must get this.... I counted 15,15 but is not working... :crying:

I got 15,15 too, but I am using a computer calculator (they suck) so I could be wrong.

 

What is happening when you put your coordinates in? Also do not use the URL from the guide, you have to use your own.

Not all computer calculators suck - there are a couple out there that are pretty awesome. :P

 

Anyway, I've confirmed that your coordinates are 15,15. Just remember to put the coordinates into your own archives URL, not the one in the guide - this is because the Neopets servers generate a different URL for everyone.

 

And once you go into the correct room, you actually have to search the shelves for the spellbook. :yes:

ok lets try it once more, except this time, move your mouse over all of the shelves on every bookcase slowly. It's possible that you missed it.

One more possibility - if the problem is that you just get bounced back to the archives entrance, then you should check that you're using your own archives URL (not the one in the guide). This is because the Neopets servers generate a unique URL for each person. So:

 

1. Click on the left door handle in the archives entrance.

2. Click on the doors to either side to go deeper in.

3. Look at the URL in your URL bar. It should be similar (but not the same) to the one in the guide, with appropriate spots for your spellbook coordinates.

4. Put your spellbook coordinates in the correct places in your URL and hit the 'go' button to go to that URL.

5. Search the room for the spellbook. :)

The same exact thing happened to me! I checked my coordinates and did the math a million times, and even had a couple other people do it too, to make sure I was doing it right. We all came up with the same answer. So I clicked every single book, and that didnt work. I did it a bunch more times, and even tried tabbing. Nothing worked for me either! :crying:

I've got the same problem, too. I also checked out my coordinates and used the spellbook finder to search for the right room, but in this room I didn't found my spellbook. I tried this more than one time but it didn't work. Probably you're able to help me too.

Make sure you are using your own url, not the one we give as an example in the guide. Also, clear your cache and try again later. If you followed all the steps of the guide, it SHOULD be in the room. Perhaps you were distracted and missed 1 tiny links...

 

We can't really help you more than give you tips, because it's a tricky part that is different for everybody.

Mh, I have a question, do I have to take the coordinates which are in my star data at the moment or do I have to use the coordinates from the teleskope (they are different ...). The first coordinates are: (-97,-225) (-57,-255) (-17,-285) (23,-285) (63,-255) (103,-225)

The second coordinates are: (-142, 152) (-82, 132) (-22, 152) (-12, 192) (48, 212) (-32, 62)

If I use the first coorinates I've got the room 18, 12

If I use the second I have to go to room 8, 11

But in both rooms I wasn't able to find my spellbook. Am I searching in the wrong room?
