onime_no_kai
For the last few weeks, whenever I've tried to play Coconut Shy all I've gotten is a blank gray square where the flash animation should be, the game never actually loads. I know TNT is/has been working on several of the chance games, but I didn't think CS was one of them; and I'm pretty sure my flash player is up-to-date. So I'm just curious, is it only me or has this been happening to everybody?
TheUnknown
I'm fairly sure that it doesn't work at all on Firefox.
Catzi
I have had no trouble with this game lately. Perhaps you need to update something?
Xepha
I get a grey square sometime and I have no idea why. I just tried to go to the page now, and it was loading. (I don't bother much about Coconut Shy since I got the avatar about 3 weeks ago.) Note: I'm using Safari.
_Zafia_
It only works in IE and not in FF for me.
some_person
It's happening to me as well, it just gets stuck on a gray screen that never loads.
antiaircraft
Well I'm using a Firefox 3 development version in Linux and the Coconut Shy works for me. I suppose it might just be an issue with Flash Player for Firefox 2 in Windows. _Zafia_
Im still waiting for FF3 to be released. Im not gonna use any browser that hasent been tested properly yet :)
antiaircraft
Well there's no guarantee that switching to Firefox 3 will solve the problem, so it probably isn't needed anyway. This could possibly be simply a Windows-specific problem or a generic problem with Flash player that somehow doesn't turn up all the time... And as a Firefox developer, it's my job to test the Firefox releases, which is why I'm using the nightly builds. :P The beta is actually stable enough for a final release though... we're just making extra sure everything's green. _Zafia_
Well im still gonna wait for the release :) and as long coconut shy works in IE then i can wait.
smumpkins
I was having the same issue with FF - and still am. As a matter of fact, I had the same thing happen in IE when I reset it back to its default settings, even after reinstalling Flash. However, I use Safari, and suddenly I'm able to play it. So, if you want to play it, I would recommend you download Safari.
antiaircraft
Well Xepha did mention that she had some problems with this when she was using Safari, so I'm theorizing that this is an issue with Flash player. Adobe did actually rush the latest version of Flash player, and it has a number of issues on Linux (though I'm not sure about the Windows version). ho_yt
I think I had the same problem just now, and it is linked to the game test your strength since it also uses flash, but after I restart, it seems to work for me again...
