Shooting star Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 It's a veggie... also called Zucchini! Check out Wikipedia! => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zucchini thanks XD I"ve never heard it referred to as that before. I know what zuccihinis are. :graduated:
Awesome_Paul Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 How have you never heard of a Courgette. I have never heard it been called a zucchinis and I work in a shop. Though of course, Neopets is American BUT they use all English words :) so that might be why.
Xepha Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Courgette is the English and Australian word... Zucchini is American :P We use both in French! Yay for Frenchness :P
antiaircraft Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Eh... it's kinda silly having different words for the same thing in the same language that only apply in a particular region isn't it? :P TNT has the potential for extreme randomness on occasion.
~*MidnightMoonFiretail*~ Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I have never, ever used the word Courgette before. ^_^
Ithil Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I have never, ever used the word Courgette before. ^_^ On the contrary I don't know what's a zucchini. :laughingsmiley: I speak french, so when I see "courgette day" I don't need a translation :laughingsmiley:
antiaircraft Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 I was a bit confused at first, but then I saw the image and managed to drag out the definition that had been hiding at the back of my mind. :P
