World Challenge pieces... sell or collect?

So, I've recently found a few games I can usually win a World Challenge on, and I've won 3 pieces so far. Now, I see that each piece usually sells for about... 10K+.

 

Firstly, what are the prizes? Are they good enough that if I were to sell them, the profits would be far greater than if I just sold the pieces? Or are they like your average dubloons/bottled faeries?

It depends of the map and prizes are random... though I can tell you that map piece level 2 and 3 are selling for more and gives better prizes too. My friend got a few camouflage paint brush from Neopia Central 3 maps! :)

So... Which places have a better prize if it depends on the map?

I don't know... I'm just really good at Neopia Central games... and I rarely get a piece from the other worlds. To get pieces for 2 and 3, you need to turn in a map of level 1 (to get level 2) and a map of level 2 (to get level 3).

I would sell if I were you.Collecting is too hard now,every item on neo had inflated.

I'm tying to collect them at the moment, and it's really not that hard because you can get up to 3 pieces per day. Just sell the duplicate that you will get.

The most popular games of each world are always in the WC. Then it has some random games every day (Up to 5 games per world).

I'd advice you to lurk at what the scores are for each games you think you are good at, to see if you have chances to win. When you click to enter into the World Challenge, all the scores you will send will be proceed against a random opponent that also entered into the challenge. You don't know the scores before it is proceed. To win a piece, you absolutely need a tally of 0+. Then there are 3 ways to win the challenge for that particular hour. Highest score, Highest total of scores and Highest Tally.

Don't worry about it firetail, there is like 10 or 11 other worlds that you can get map pieces from. They all give out pretty much the same prizes when you turn the map in.

 

I had a Krawk Island map piece once, but I decided to sell it. :D

Level 1 is bound to be a bad prize like a codestone.

Level 2 is a alright prize

Level 3 is what you work for. While I was lurking, someone who completed the Level 3 Lost desert map, got a Lost desert paintbrush.

Can you "play" the game first to see if you get a high enough score and if so challenge and then send the score like daily dare?

No, I think you have to challenge before you can play, try it, I'm not sure.

Actually, you can play a game, look at the challenge page, decide to enter (by clicking on the link) and then send your score ;o

Yes, that's a good strategy. Keep in mind that once you are entered for a challenge, ALL scores will count and be proceed against a random opponent.
