Simbaro Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Hey guys anyone of you use the ad block program? I just got it, and something stranged occured and to those who use ad bock can u clarify with me, can it actually block the iamges of your pets clothes O.o I thought i lost all the clothes i had, but for some reason, when i accessed my pet page through the search engine, and when i clicked on my pet lookup, everything was there -.- However in my account i cant see anything on my pet, and i can find the clothes in my closet too, if anyone has the time try looking at my pet page and can you see if my pet has all her clothes? Will be greatly appreciated :D!
m3l3ana Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 This sounds like the glitch that is going on at the moment. I don't think it has anything to do with and ad blocker. A lot of members are unable to acces their items, shops, SDB, shop wizard and a few other this, so don't worry it should all be fixed soon! And yes your pet still has it's stuff on as far as I can see, but the glitch is on the users end.
antiaircraft Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Yup, pretty much what Marianne said. I'd just like to add in that I don't think Adblock Plus has the technical capacity to block just your pet's clothes without blocking the image of the pet itself. That said, how are you liking your new ad-free experience? :D
MoyraX Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I actually have a question for those who DO use Adblock. Hopefully i'm not off topic TOO much >.< Is there a way to block the ads without blocking...certain games and adver video? It seems whenever i try adblock, i can't play the coconut game or use adver video >.<
Ashley Rose Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 You have an option to disable adblock temporarily when on neopets. So just before you go to do those games just disable it before you do then turn it back on when you are finished!
MoyraX Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 =o That'll make it easy. I didn't think of that XD Thanks! ;)
antiaircraft Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Or if you want to do a slightly more advanced setup, you could go into Adblock and whitelist the specific items that Adblock is messing up.
