As you probably know already, we had a few issues with the system's hardware-software integration (you may have noticed the muffled explosions over the past few weeks) which is why the network's been so long coming, but none of that now - let's get to the evening news report. The exponential growth of the city's population has continued without excessive strain on the existing infrastructure, although economists remain sceptical as to whether or not this will remain the case for long. The city's mayor and ruling council have, in a number of public addresses, reiterated their confidence in the city's industry and transport network expansion program, as well as pledging significant amounts of funding for the city's fledgeling police force. Speaking of the police force, officers throughout the city have had their hands full with a petty crime wave that has swept the city in recent weeks, with offences ranging from stolen cats to excessive littering in public squares. The city council recently announced that they would be bringing in a number of experienced international specialists from overseas to equip the city's policemen with the skills needed to maintain law and order. In other news, Bigfoot Suppliers and its subsidiaries have been keeping the plans for the construction of the city's first skyscraper under tight wraps. Requests for comments are generally turned down or answered with ambiguous statements. One thing's for sure however - the top brass has something big up their sleeve for this project. antiaircraft Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Well we're still cleaning up the mess from a couple of blown transmitters, so the network won't be fully operational until we get a couple more shipped in. <_< But anyway, security has been fixed, so we can go back to population. :yes:
