Arwen
Hi everyone, I've combed through the Help/Question FAQs and I couldn't find the answer so I thought I'd post my question here. I registered yesterday, and I had entered my primary email during registration which has a telus.net domain. However, I didn't receive a validation email, so today I logged in to resend the validation but, again, I did not receive anything (I checked all of my folders but no email from TDN had been received). I then decided to change my email to my secondary email account, which has a yahoo.ca domain, and I received the validation email almost immediately. Are emails with telus.net unable to receive emails from TDN? I'm just wondering because I check my primary email account much more frequently than my secondary one, and I would prefer to be able to receive emails in my primary account if possible. muchabi
Maybe it got sorted into your spam folder? Try allowing all mail from this site.
Guest Levy
Possibly, you may have spelled your primary email wrong. Try it again, if it fails then contact Ian, the site admin.
Superfly
If you are referring to your tdnAccount please provide me with the Display Name you entered and I can activate your account for you. :)
Guest Levy
I am sure she is referring to the validation email sent by the forums upon registering. Of which only Mike and Ian can manually validate via the admin CP, unless the member validates through the link provided through the email.. Well she should be allowed to post with out activating her forum account, thus making this topic not possible. ?!~? If you can clarify your situation a tad more, I'm sure we can help you out. :)
Guest Levy
I'm not sure, I've honestly never been in the validation part of registration long enough to check. I'm sure you haven't either. I just don't know.

I think that answers your question TJ. :P But it seems that the e-mail getting marked as spam is the most likely cause for your problem.
Arwen
Hey everyone, Yes, I've already been validated because I used my other email account, but I'm just curious why I couldn't receive any emails from TDN on my main email account. Yes, I had checked, double-checked, and triple-checked my spelling before submitting my registration form. Also, I might add that my main email account does not have a spam folder nor any spam filter that I know of. Anyhow, it's not a big problem. I'll just have to make a bigger effort to check my secondary email account more often. :)
Xepha
Well, in your control pannel, you can change your email to whatever you want. ;) So you can put your main email account back there. I think that would solve your issue.
Guest Levy
It still make you validate the new email when you change it. I know from experience. Best check with Ian or Mike, they would know more about this topic.
antiaircraft
Maybe your primary e-mail provider filters your e-mails without notifying you? Just a thought...
