YoungRL01
Hi all, kind of a newbie to the plots, heh. I was wondering, if you beat the Battledome challengers more than once, does that net you more points for your final score for participating in the plot, once it's over? Parshy
Im pretty sure it does, i mean, more effort, more ponits
Superfly
In past plots they have set the cut off limit at 30 wins max for obtaining points towards plot prizes. According to HBK one of our Battlepedia Reviews that I spoke to earlier he is recommending that number for each challenger, if you can do that at least. If you can't there is no harm in winning everything you can on the others until you can't win, it will only guarantee you the most points you could possibly get later toward prizes. I cant beat the Garoo Elite Specialist Riilan at all. I only have 36 hps. :crying: I tried using the snowballs to knock off some of their hps, but they freeze me! GAH!! >< :grrr: any suggestions on weapons that may be a lil more effective?
_Zafia_
I cant beat the Garoo Elite Specialist Riilan at all. I have the same problem as u. I have only 61hp and cant beat the last one.
antiaircraft
There's no need to beat the last one if you can't. Just win as many times as possible against the opponents you can deal with.
_Zafia_
Well if u dont complete step 4 u cant go to step 5 when its released, so thats not gonna work.
antiaircraft
You understand wrongly - there is no need to beat all of the opponents. As this is a battledome step, all you need to do is beat as many opponents as possible in order to earn points.
_Zafia_
So battledome steps in a plot dosent need to be complete in order to earn the rights to the next step?
antiaircraft
Battledome steps aren't really something you can 'complete' in effect. It's basically like a battle where you do your best to deal as much damage to the enemy as possible. :medieval:
_Zafia_
Oh i see. I just thought that one needed to win at least 1 time over em. What a relief :)
antiaircraft
Well if you needed to beat them all, I would never be able to complete this step either. :P And with my ability to procrastinate, I haven't even done part 2 yet.
_Zafia_
Ouch dont remind me of step 2 - that took me about 6 hours to complete *yawn* lol.
BlueEyes456
Ouch dont remind me of step 2 - that took me about 6 hours to complete *yawn* lol. I must be stupid then, I did all but the 3 modifier ones then spent 4 hours on one and still didnt crack it. :crying:
nannerz
Not necessarily. In previous plots TNT has capped the maximum wins that count towards your plot score...which makes battlers like me really really ticked off. <_< If you're really desperate to beat that last one just once, I'd suggest you look into some 1-use freezers and healers or full blockers. MariaWB
I had QUITE som trouble with opponent 2, since they kept FREEZING me! When I finally beat them, I had these items with me: Tomato Smasher (from Advent Calender 2007) Snowball Slingshot Fire Faerie Darts (got those from Tarla, I have two because a friend gave me his) Silver Chest Plate (also from Tarla) Fire Rock Torso Shield Golden Geraptiku Talisman (very cheap, costs about 10 NP) Jade Elixir (heals HPs completely) Of those, I used both Fire Faerie Darts (can be used more than once most of the time, but they go away at some point) as my very first attack. It knocks off a fair deal of points. ANd that was my goal: Hurts them as much as possible in the first move! Then I also used Silver Chest Plate, the Talisman and the Jade Elixir to heal me at one point. I also used my Heal-ability at least once, and I think I also used Bubble Shield once. I also used Tomato Smasher and/or Snowball Slingshot once or twice. Hurting them makes them use their Scorchstone, thereby taking up a move for them. They did freeze me once, but because of the Jade Elixir I was able to heal up and beat them. It was close, but I got them =) There are other full-heal battledome items - check the Battlepedia, that's what I did ;)
Mitchy Poo
So there is a pet lending program for Avatar Lending right? is there any kind of program like that for strong pets that could defeat the Battledome challengers more easily. this could be useful for all who are on the return of sloth plot and also for anyone who needed help on the defenders of neopia challenges. YoungRL01
I must be stupid then, I did all but the 3 modifier ones then spent 4 hours on one and still didnt crack it. :crying: Aaah, I spent *ages* on one 3-mod message til I finally realized, "Oh, this one is incomplete, so I'm completely wasting my time." Was gutted, lol
crxsnochic
I'm so glad we don't have to beat all three! I thought we had to, I was gonna be a bit upset if I took all that time to finish part 2, and then waited comic after comic just to get locked out at the 4th step! I've currently beat the easy guys 30 times (I hear that's usually the cap for points) and have had one draw on the medium guys <_< Maybe I'll be able to beat them one or two times... after that they'll be out of my league! I don't know if I'd partake if there was a battledome pet lending program (I don't know if there is one or not). I'd be a little upset if I couldn't go on with the plot cause my pet was too weak... but at the same time, that's my own fault (oh... and the labray that killed my pet stats!) I don't spend any effort on my pets battle abilities... so I guess I couldn't complain too much if they can't battle.
kicks
Ouch dont remind me of step 2 - that took me about 6 hours to complete *yawn* lol. 6 hrs?!? o_O man that step took me like a week to complete! step 3 was really easy... but step 2 i was ready to just quit the plot all together. im glad that we dont have to beat all 3 opponents id never be able to, but ill give it my best shot! MariaWB
Yeah, I spent 3-4 days on step 2, too, maybe even five. And my butt hurt SO bad after just three days, and the 'cheeks' kept falling asleep/going numb alternately so I had to move around in my seat all the time. And I had horrible pain in my mousearm for at least a week after I was done, I nearly had to go to the doctor *LoL* And, as I said in the other thread on the topic, I think lending pets to beat opponents on the plot is a freezeable offense - and it's not possible anyway as the pound isn't working. YoungRL01
I'm glad we don't have to beat all three opponents either. As it stands I've beaten the Garoo Elite Junior Squadron 31 times (accidentally clicked them once after I hit thirty, lol), I've beat the Garoo Elite Strike Commanders 16 times, drawn once, and lost once to them, and lost once to the Garoo Elite Specialist Riilan. And that's with my (lab ray) pet Seerahn, who, admittedly, doesn't have much in the way of weapons, and no special abilities or anything, but has 234 HP o_O! MrSoundMan
Anyone able to steal from these clowns? I've got a Blue Sticky Hand in my pet's Equipment list but it never has shown up during any of the 25+ fights with the Jr Squadron. The other things I've got that do show up during battles are: Scarab Ring Obsidian Dagger Fire Faerie Darts Blue Frost Cannon Pale Elixir Flame Reflector Ugga Marbleshield
