My character

Name: Siyoren

Species: Uni

Color: Royal

Gender: Female

Personality: Siyoren is a princess, but wouldn't mind if she were just a normal pet. Well, she likes being a princess and everything, but she does sometimes wish that everyone didn't know her name. She is a brave, outgoing girl who knows her limits. Oh, and she also has lots of friends. :)

Siyoren trotted down a long corridor in her castle. A few of her friends were ariving shortly to discuss what the ball would be like, seeing as it was to be in the castle, and how they should dress to go. She reached the end of the corridor and sat down in a rather comfy chair to wait for her friends to arrive.

((Okay, now you cannot control anything that Siyoren does. This is a "further notice". I am controlling another character, the butler, but he is unimportant. Just to let you know))

Name: Petria

Species: Kougra

Color: Rainbow

Gender: Female

Personality: Petria is a very overactive pet who doesn't know when to calm down sometimes. Her best sport is racing. When in a fight, Petria tends to win a battle with agility and swipes from her paws.

Petria was running down the castle halls in a state of excitement. She couldn't wait to see her good friend, Siyoren. I'm really looking forward to the Solstice Ball, Petria thought. It's going to be a blast! Petria finally came to a slow in front of Siyoren. "Siyoren, hi!" She made a curtsy in front of her without even a single pant.

"Petria! I was about to get worried. Was there any trouble getting here?" asked Siyoren. She hoped that there was no trouble down in the village, because that usually caused issues in the castle. If there was trouble in the village, some of her friends might not come. "Why don't we wait in the entrance hall for the others to arrive, and we can talk. I know how much you want to be noticed at the ball," said Siyoren jokingly.

"Ah, no, I had no trouble." Petria twirled her tail around a little. "Very funny, Siyoren. But sure, let's go to the entrance hall. Has anyone else shown up before me? I didn't see anyone when I came down here." Petria followed Siyoren to the entrance hall and watched out of the window for any more guests coming. None so far, although she was sure that the castle would be filled soon.

Siyoren sat down in the same chair she had been waiting in, and motioned to another chair for Petria. "Nope, no one has come yet, but I wish they would hurry up. Anyway, this year's theme for the ball will be island, so a lot of pets are going to come painted island. I don't know if I'll paint myself or not. Seems more like a fad than anything else, because so many other pets will paint themselves. How about you?" she said inquiringly.

((Should the ball be "today"?))

((WOO!!! My 100th Post))

"M'lady, There will be ten gaurds at the ball." "Good, get at least 30 minions. More is good, but no less" And once again the servant bowed and left. How rude of them not to invite me... Oh well, my minions will make sure that I get an invitation.

((Congrats, and I don't mind whenever you feel like it should start. ;)))

Petria looked at her colors. "I don't see myself becoming island, I'm rather attracted to my rainbow color. I don't think I'll paint myself island." She still did not see anyone coming. "Siyoren? Isn't somebody supposed to show up by now? Where is everyone?" Huh, maybe there's a sickness spreading around. Yikes. Petria hated getting sick, because that meant she couldn't run around outside. "Do you think they're sick?"

"I should hope not. It would be terrible if something was going around. The ball is tonight, and if too many people don't come, it would be a disaster. They're probably just running late, I guess" said Siyoren. She was beginning to become a bit uneasy now, because her friends were running rather late. None of her friends were very prone to being late to things...

Fang Was practicing swordfighting by herself when her servant came in "we have 35 able minions at your command." "Good, now I need you to tell me when the ball is starting. I want to make an entrance when its in full swing." "Yes M'lady" And the servant once again backed out of the room Thrust, parry, lunge, dogde, retreat.... Ahh, whats the use? No war today. Just one hundred and one villagers to beat up on.

Petria looked worried now. "I'll take a look outside and see what's going on." She exited the castle and looked around. Not a soul was seen throughout Meridell. After a few minutes of looking, Petria came back inside with a worried look on her face. "There's no one out there, Siyoren. Not even the Potato Farmer is out there. I'm really starting to worry about this."

Boring... When did things get booorrring again? I'm suprised that the ball hasent started. its five minutes late... They usually start on time. If there's no raid today, then we'll all get bored. Fang looked outside her bedroom window. Not a farmer to be seen. no kings, queens, lords, or ladies. Not even a peasent. It was dull.

Petria saw Martine coming through the door. "Martine! We were so worried! We don't know what's going on; the castle is empty, and nobody's outside! Tonight is supposed to be one of the most active nights and it's like a ghost town around here!" Petria ran around in circles in a state of panic.

Umm... Petria is being really freaky. "Calm down. I don't know what's happening, but it can't be too bad. Maybe It's a surprise party. We'll go outside and be surprised by everyone. Hopefully."

"Hi Martine. Petria, calm down. This is odd, but we need not worry yet. Let's just see who all is in the castle. Lots of people should be somewhere near the ballroom, because people line up by the dozens hours before the ball every year," reasoned Siyoren, though she was starting to feel very apprehensive at the moment. She motioned for the others to follow her as she trotted down one of the many corridors of her castle. "Martine, did you say you couldn't find your parents?" she asked as she turned past a tapestry into another hallway.

Petria eventually slowed down, feeling foolish of her old habit. "I--I suppose they could be there." She slowly followed Siyoren and Martine to the ballroom. This is no surprise party. Something is going on around here. Scary thoughts...scary thoughts...

They walked to the ballroom. No one was there. Siyoren walked down the stairs leading to where the band was to be and looked around. "Hello? Anybody?" she said gingerly. All of the lights were off, and there was a slight chill, it felt like. "Something's wrong. I can feel it. No one is here. No one is outside. Somebody planned this. It's no coincidence. I think we're in danger," she said softly, sinking down to the floor.

Petria's stomach fell when she saw the empty ballroom. "D-danger? Oh my gosh! What do we do? Aah!" Petria sunk to the floor, terrified of what might happen next. "Siyoren? What do you think could have happened to everyone? Are we--" Petria gulped. "...under attack?"

"Don't we have a super safe shelter? If we're under attack that would be a good place to be. But I don't know what's going on. It's scary..."

"I don't know. I just don't know. We never had a shelter here, it seemed pointless. It just seems like this couldn't happen to us. This is such a quiet kingdom! Why would anyone want to attack us-" she said, stopping abruptly in the middle of the sentence. The Dargian Citadel. It had to be. They had already launched a full-blown attack on Altador, and succeded in taking control of their land. "That must be it- The Dargian Citadel has attacked us. The Solstice Ball is a huge event. It makes perfect sense that they would attack us here! Everyone comes to it. They must have captured everyone that was waiting, inside and outside," she muttered. Before long, this would be big news. But they didn't have the time for it to be big news. They had to find a way to somehow free their land. Siyoren just hoped that there were more that just the three of them that had made it through the attack.

((I am sooo in to this roleplay. It feels like someone is going to burst through my bedroom door and attack my "kingdom"))

"Did you just say the Darigan Citadel?!" Petria looked horrified at the concept of the Citadel invading Meridel. "But, I never saw any soldiers when I was coming here. I didn't see anyone coming here. I was at Illusen's Glade before I came!" Petria stood up, not quite as scared now. "Perhaps the Darigan minions don't know about the glade?"

((Haha, funny. I've been posting in the roleplays all day. And I'll be going to bed in 45 minutes. :())
