Part 12, the annoying petpet

I've been doing what the guide says. I also went to look at the other boards where eople were also stuck..still doesn't work.

 

When i click check in on the vaeolus, the images sometimes changes and sometimes it doesn't.

Am I allowed to click on check in on the vaeolus again if the image does not change? I've been doing it this for more than ten times..

When I click on the action the images changes again! Am I suppose to do the right action again but for that image? :grrr:

Sometimes it doesn't change

 

This is what I do:

Go to the archivist's office

Click on the petpet at T:T: 59 seconds

Click the right action for the right image

Wait until T:T: 00

Check in on the vaeolus

Click on the right action for the right image

 

*T= time

 

Even though I do this ten times nothing happens. I even did it for 12 times.

If I remember correctly, it's every 30 seconds, not each minute?

 

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, haven't done this plot in a while.

Umm..from every guide I read it said 1 second...soo I don't really know..

It's one minute everyone. And it doesn't always have to change. Where did you ever get that notion? Just apply what you see.

Umm but once I apply my action, the image changes.

 

 

 

EXAMPLE: Tongue out - Click feed

Do I click the corresponding action or just leave it?

You're supposed to do one action, wait for a minute, and then check in again and do another action.

I swear I have done exactly as directed and half hour later this little critter is still giving me the tongue or the paw or the head down. It should be cured of just about everything by now. Is there a random time for everyone? I have read 10 minutes, 5 minutes, few minutes. ARGGGGGGHHHHHH. I haven't left that screen and it is 26 minutes since I started this project. Any ideas on how long this should last? Are any new ideas and maybe I am doing something wrong. Thanks. M

I went through the process at least 4 times myself. I was doing something wrong... =/

 

Finally it just worked, I'd try it again.

Now I have 2 screen going, one exactly one minute, the other when the clock changes to the next minute. And why am I doing this? Is the pay off worth it? what is the big prize? Hmmmm. Arggghhh. Thanks. M

The payoff is 5,000 NPs plus four items that aren't worth much, along with a string of grossly deflated items that you can collect once a day, a site theme, and an avvie. Whether that's worth the effort is up to you.

 

The waiting time between actions is one minute for everybody, so I guess you should just keep trying.

This is maddening. Do the creators of this aggravation get extra points or something? Should I restart after 11 cure attempts? Or just keep going with the same attempt? I'm waiting a minute or more between attempts and still no luck. Arggghhh. Thanks. M

 

Ok it finally worked. 4th or 5th time. I refreshed by going to the archivist's lair and starting over each time. Don't wait a full minute, just a new minute on the neopet clock and after 10 treatments and a few tries it should work. GOOD LUCK. M
