I could help you with German Christmas Music...are you searching for traditional music (choirs etc) or for modern/Popmusic? Cause the problem is that most of the bands are singing in english...for example Sarah Connor with her Christmas Song or Heidi Klum (I don't like her song...)

 

So we nearly have just the traditional songs... Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht, Am Weihnachtsbaum die Lichter brennen...sometimes very frightening *G*

 

I survive my christmas time with Rock Christmas - the very best of ;) But everything in english ....

Stille Nacht, which I believe is Silent Night in English, I heard was made by a German composer. I was watching a choir in NYC and they told us. Quite interesting. :)

The Text has been written by a priest as a poem and a teacher wrote the melody...that happened in Austria and the song went popular when they presented it once in Leipzig, Germany. Then it made his way out into many countries.
