Myriad
Yay! Welcome back, Brain Teasers. I think i'll be more active now. I also think I might give out prizes. Or would it be more fun if it was a non-prizes thing? Whatever. Here's a teaser! Oh yeah, and they're still all from Braingle. If the only brother of your dad's sister had a child, what would the child's relationship to you be? Scoring I'm going to do...Whoever reaches 10 right questions, and you have to answer them first. Is that OK? So you have to be quick as well as smart. :) And you'll get a faerie or two or something nice. :D If you don't want to do the scoring, just say so! Oh yeah, and when you reach 10, you just start again. Your name goes up here when you get one right. Sky Shadow - 2 Doc Loc - 1 DOOM Bringer - 2 Crash- 1 Mischievous Penguin - Usemaster - 1 Ladyrookie - 1 Isabel - 5 That Erapturing Music - 1 Strategos - 5 Aang - 1 Isamaria - 2 Ryuuk - 4 TwilitWings -
antiaircraft
I wouldn't mind whether or not we got prizes. The child would be you or one of your siblings.
Crusher
AA's right! It's because your dad is her only brother. Crusher
Myriad
Yeah, that's right. :) I figured out a way to award prizes and not go broke! ^^ It's on the first post. *points* What does this represent? issues issues issues issues issues issues issues issues issues issues
Superfly
Top 10 Issues? Correcto o uno. I'm not very good at these, but I think I got that one. Also: I think the scoring is a tad high. Maybe after 5 or 10. 30 seems like it will take forever with a bunch of people answering and stuff. :D
Crusher
Uh... Someone who has major issues? o_O I dunno, too hard for me. Crusher
antiaircraft
The prize system sounds good to me, although TJ has a point. As for the teaser - cannot...compute. *Goes to bang head on wall repeatedly* Edit: Does it mean 'ten tissues' (since 'issues' is repeated ten times and sounds a bit like tissues)?
Myriad
Eerrr...Maybe it is.. o_O And it's not top ten issues, or ten tissues, the clue is: Something you wear. I'll change it to 10.
Boomer
XD Very tricky i think that would be Tennis Shoes.
Parshy
Here's one Once upon a time, and old lady went to sell her vast quantity of eggs at the local market. When asked how many she had, she replied: Son, I can't count past 100 but I know that. If you divide the number of eggs by 2 there will be one egg left. If you divide the number of eggs by 3 there will be one egg left. If you divide the number of eggs by 4 there will be one egg left. If you divide the number of eggs by 5 there will be one egg left. If you divide the number of eggs by 6 there will be one egg left. If you divide the number of eggs by 7 there will be one egg left. If you divide the number of eggs by 8 there will be one egg left. If you divide the number of eggs by 9 there will be one egg left. If you divide the number of eggs by 10 there will be one egg left. Finally. If you divide the Number of eggs by 11 there will be NO EGGS left! How many eggs did the old lady have?

antiaircraft
After writing out 10 simultaneous equations, I have concluded that the answer to the egg question is 25201 eggs o_O I don't think that's correct.
Parshy
Yes that is correct, Good job AA
antiaircraft
Thanks. Wow, I had no idea I could come up with a sensible answer. *Drools at the thought of the huge omelette those eggs would make* And I agree with Ellie for the other one. Myriad
The answer to my one was corn. Good job Ellie! The egg one was hard. :P I like the next riddle. It's very cute. (: Three brothers share a family sport: A non-stop marathon The oldest one is fat and short And trudges slowly on The middle brother's tall and slim And keeps a steady pace The youngest runs just like the wind, Speeding through the race "He's young in years, we let him run," The other brothers say "'Cause though he's surely number one, He's second, in a way." Who are they?
Ellie_Penguin
Parts of a clock? Parshy
I looked over what she said and it makes sense so it's right Mine: During the recent PPS cipher convention, a binary code contest took place. The contest consisted of a binary code transmission where the spaces between the letters were missing and there was no punctuation. Each letter of the alphabet was translated into its binary equivalent based on its position in the alphabet, a=1, b=10, c=11, d=100, e=101, f=110, g=111, h=1000, i=1001, j=1010, k=1011, l=1100, m=1101, n=1110, o=1111, p=10000, q=10001, r=10010, s=10011, t=10100, u=10101, v=10110, w=10111, x=11000, y=11001, z=11010. What is the answer to the question being asked? 110011101001000100110011100110011110110 101100101100110010011101101001111010111 001010010000101011101011010110010110011 010010001111101011111000101001001101001 011111111010111001001000101110010000100 111010011100111011101100110011100111011 000011001011000110101101100111010010011 111111010111100011010010011001111111110 101100001100101011001111111110101
Myriad
Don't look at me. I'm not smart enough for this. I just post the teasers. :P This is a really weird teaser. Very odd. o_O Gertie just came from the office of her dear departed aunt's lawyer. She was told that her aunt (who loved language teasers) left her a certain amount of money in US Dollars. The lawyer explained that according to the terms of her aunt's Last Will and Testament, Gertie will get fifty times the original amount bequeathed if she could correctly guess the amount left her by midnight tomorrow. "God, that would be thousands of dollars if you succeed," the lawyer said as he handed her a note from her aunt. It read: RAIN RIDDLE: OLD ASTRONOMY HOST ALLOWS ABLE LASS ENTRY IN OWN LAND ESTATE. Love Aunt Alley. Question: How many thousand dollars did her millionaire aunt leave Gertie?
Izzy ♥
I gave up and looked up the answer to this one - its hard! I'd never have thought of it myself XD There's an additional hint though, to get this topic moving again... Right or wrong, Gertie gets to buy a thousand BIKINIS. Ellie_Penguin
I also looked up the answer XD so I'm not going to say anything. It IS indeed very hard o_O.
