Neopets Overall Status Question

Hey, so I just got back from a months-long hiatus. Not sure when I last played but it was around the time Neopets got a new owner. How is the game's overall status right now? I've been seeing some changes but also some new buggy features, particularly when fighting in the battledome.

Anything I should know about or be wary of?

If you're going back 1-2 years to new ownership, you've probably missed the Void Within stuff, which is why many things are grey, and also why there was no Altador Cup this year.  Technically, we're still in the event.  Meanwhile, there have been quite a few mini-events where you could earn high end battledome weapons.  I haven't noticed the battledome being more (or less) buggy than before myself

And there are daily/weekly quests where you do normal daily tasks and get rewarded with (sometimes) unusual items, which I personally like, but some may think of as a grind.

Oh yeah, the old flash games work now! I never expected to see them again and now I just take it for granted that they're around.
