Thanks to the four people who entered the contest, we have selected the order and it is.... 1st: onime_no_kai 2nd: Icestorm Nightmare 3rd: Angelxepha 4th: Mischievous Penguin The Prizes have been sent. Congrats! And now, here's the poems. onime_no_kai The Saga of the TDN Mascots There once was a brave young Red Pteri, Whose name, as you might have guessed, was Jerry. One fine day Jerry said, 'Though I look dashing in Red, I think I might like to be Faerie. Alas, our hero, being somewhat unwary, Asked the Rainbow Pool's direction from a certain Dark Faerie. She pointed: That way!! And led him astray, For Jhudora, you know, can be rather contrary. Now lost and discouraged, our poor Pteri friend Saw that, alone, his quest would soon end. Thought he, "Help would be nice; Where can I find good advice? I know - I'll ask on the forums at TDN!" So saying, he flew off to post there his query, But was delayed by a Hissi, too sad to be scary. "I've no name!!" the Hissi cried, To which Jerry replied, "For the sake of the rhyme, your name shall henceforth be Harry." Whilst naming the Hissi, a strange thing transpired - Jerry found a new color he no longer desired! To his new friend he said, "Let's help other Neopians instead!" And soon after, the two by TDN were hired. Now, this saga occurred when the forums were new How time flies - now they're starting Year 2! With a poetry contest, no less For which I've written this mess - Sorry, staff. But in conclusion: TDN, HERE'S TO YOU!! Happy Birthday to the TDN Forums!! Icestorm Nightmare Zoop! Whizz! GO! ------- We're ready to go, Come on let's get, Before the Eve of the Night flies away, Zoop! Whizz! Malapropisms at the ready! It's good to be back on the old Terracotta, Dancing away on the Moon, Beware of the Jerry above the shoutbox- don't touch or it'll be unsteady! Zoop! Whizz! Malapropisms at the ready! Are we ready to fire? Aye! BANG! Are you ready to board come on let's go, I'll take you to the safari zone, As you see here on your right you'll see the slumbering OTT board- beware of the pies to be thrown! On your left is the Role-play section- before leaving you must try some of our exquisite niceties- such as Metroid and the Socks- Don't forget to visit Anthro world! Hurling, Swirling, Majestically twirling Hurling, Swirling, Majestically twirling Hurling, Swirling, Majestically twirling Moving swiftly on, Dillon, PUT THAT DOWN. Did they really do that on the Graphics stand- looks too good to be true! It's sommat I just Cannae construe! Story and Lit.'s a good place to sit under trees and read - pity there's not many trees- TDNT had to economise with their spending costs- Now we have to read the trees. Watch out for the Cheese!
