Is TWR glitching for anyone else using Google Chrome?

I just logged in for the first time in a long time last week and didn't realize that the plot is basically over because I kept getting notifications. So, long story short Mystic Murmurs won't reset even though I've completed every step that's still available. I feel like based on the guide here, I'm ready to start Step 8. Murmur, Battles, and Potions Part 3. Should I give up on the plot?

I'm not sure if it's still possible to complete the plot/continue with it. Many signs point to the plot being over (the purple haze being gone, for instance), but there hasn't been an official announcement yet.

However, I do remember issues with the Mystic Murmurs not resetting if you haven't done the Wild Woods step. I'm not sure if you've already done that one/can still do it though.
