Pawkeet Pinata Won't Break!!

So, I was at the money tree and I got a Pawkeet Piñata. According to the Item desc., if you let it play with your pets it can break and release goodies. 

 

The problem is that it won't break! I've been doing this 32 times, so is there some number I have to reach or is it random? Or do I need to have a strong pet to do it? I'm still kind of a newbie at Neopets (due to my ability to not retain info, haha) so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong?

 

Its a bit irritating. I'm just thinking of selling it in my shop. But then there's another question.. Is the piñata worth a lot or its the items inside worth more? Please help!

The pinata is only good for an avatar. Nothing of worth comes out of the pawkeet pinata and it doesn't sell all that well.

Alright, thank you. I don't really care for avatars so I guess I'll just sell it in my shop for 20NP for anyone who wants the avatar. Thanks!

If you really want to break it open, just keep refreshing the page after your pet plays with it. It will eventually break open. Sometimes it takes a bit more time, though.

 

Anyway, since you're selling - this thread can be locked.
