Bodhi
Could someone explain this thing for me? You know where you go to your rank and click on it to bring up a popup type thing and it shows your current rank on the left and next one on the right? Well, where it says + and then a number, does that mean you need that many more points? So for example, mine says 60 for level 4 SS then on the right it says +100 Does that mean I need another 100 qualifying plays?
eliang100
The + number means that to reach rank 5 from where you are right now, you can play any combination of those numbers. For example, if it says +30 on YYB or something, you can play only 30 games of YYB to reach rank 5 or you can play a combination of YYB and any of the other games. The games are weighted differently based on time required/difficulty.

So for example, mine says 60 for level 4 SS then on the right it says +100 Does that mean I need another 100 qualifying plays? Going from what eliang said, to score rank points each game of YYB is 1 rank point, 3 YYB draws is 1 rank point, 2 slushie slinger SS games is 1 rank point (so I guess you could say each game is 1/2 rank point), and both MSN and SOSD are 1 rank point per 12 games. So, now that you know the stats, you can get your rank by either playing all of just 1 game or a mix. For example, to go from beginner to rank 1 you need 34 rank points. So, you can play 36 games of SOSD= 3 rank points, 36 games of MSN= 3 rank points, 14 games of SS= 7 rank points and 21 games of YYB= 21 rank points for a total of 34 rank points. Or you could play 34 games of YYB, or 408 games of MSN, or 408 games of SOSD. Does that make sense?
