Transfer Limitations?

Hey, I just have a quick question! I just made a side account and want to receive a non-limited edition chocolate species pet. I know that it can't receive limited edition neopets and colors, but would my side (under 4 months old) be able to receive the chocolate pet, or is chocolate considered a color that insn't transferable until after 4 months. Thanks in advance!
