Novelista
In the past, I've had a problem with only TVLine and Entertainment Weekly refusing to load in Chrome. They would act like they're loading, then go to the gray, counter-clockwise "I'm thinking about loading" and back and forth. So I would load the pages in Firefox or Opera and no problem. Now it's doing that with WordPress pages. I can get WP to come up, but if I open new links, forget it. They'll do that repeatedly--in all three browsers. I've tried clearing the cache, I've tried uninstalling (and having the browser remove all user information)--neither of which worked. Cleared the computer cache, defragged, even allowed Avast do a boot time scan. I'm at my wits' end, because I want to be able not only to read the blogs I subscribe to, but to be able to read new blogs (so I can comment and maybe get new readers). Any ideas? Hert123
If Firefox and Opera work fine and you don't mind switching browsers then you could use a different browser until the problem with Chrome is fixed. I'm currently not home but I will check WordPress on Chrome at my computer so that we know if it is Chrome causing the problem or your own computer. Will add outcome later! Novelista
I meant that I had the problem with all three browsers, actually. But thank you for trying.
Hert123
Oh yes I see now. Well I have no problem with WordPress on any browser so it must be something at your computer. The only things I would come up with is uninstalling and reinstalling and then do a virus scan. I don't know enough about browsers and stuff to help you any further so good luck! xx
Novelista
That's what the boot time scan was. I don't know if that fixed anything, though...I didn't see it finish. :P
