Slots Big Losers Trophy

Since I am not very good at the flash games, I am trying to get any trophy possible :). So I discovered the Slots Big Losers has a trophy that should not be hard to get because I am not very good at winning. Does anybody know how your score is calculated for this? I am doing max bets on both Brucey B and Black Pawkeet. Any other hints or tips? Now if only they had a Bilge Dice Big Loser trophy :laughingsmiley:

If you want an easy trophy, I would suggest playing Faerie Caves II because it's a guaranteed trophy. TDN has the full walk-through and although it might be time consuming, it's totally worth it!

My friend's been working on trophies lately and dragged me into it. She was working on the slots biggest loser one two months ago, trying to explain it to me. I know she said she had to make sure to play every single day as much as you could, and there were some tricks to maximize the losses (though it's mostly chance). She said on average she was just about breaking even, but of course there were huge fluctuations, so it could get expensive.

 

She also linked me to this trophy guide. I've gotten a few of the "exceptional 8" and most of the ones they list as easy. If you don't mind spending some time, Spinacles is also an easy, if time-consuming, trophy (the nice part is you can take as many breaks as you'd like, for as long as you like, as long as you finish in one day). The trick is to build 2-sphere combos, then slowly chip away at them without missing (each consecutive clearing increases the bonus), until you only have a few left. Then spend time building them up again, re-clearing, etc. I tend to shoot bombs off to the side horizontally while building (using a bomb ruins the consecutive bonus, so I switch out of it to keep my streak going as long as I can -- I also shoot away/switch out the multi-clearer special spheres, unless my glob is already pretty huge, or I need to avoid dying, because although they give you bonuses, they can sometimes clear your whole board or leave you with no additional combos. However, in later levels, both bombs and multi-clearers can be life-savers.). I like to be at ~16k by level 7 or so, and then play the rest out. It usually gets me a gold for most of the month after score review, so if you do it on the first of the month, it actually pays off pretty well for the time. (I don't do it every month, because I rarely have the time, but I do enjoy it occasionally.)
