rinoa812 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I wasnt sure if this belonged in computers or graphics, so my apologies if it is in the wrong place. I wish to make a desktop wallpaper using a number of pictures of pets that I have had. I dont mean like a slide show but a still wallpaper that has pictures that i can size and arrange into a sort of collage. Is this possible and if so can anyone give me tips on how to do it? I dont have any programs like photoshop. Quote
Mouseykins Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 My only suggestion would be to try and size the image according to your screen resolution so that it fits the entire screen. Also to put the images together you can download a program called GIMP. Now if you have a mac you can get Sketchbook Express free from the Mac App Store. Quote
rinoa812 Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 no mac. I remember doin it before in paint but it was an extremely long time ago and i had help. Not really techie myself lol =P Quote
missmadiemay Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Couldn't you just copy and paste each image into one paint document? I think every computer comes with paint haha. Just make the images small. Quote
rinoa812 Posted November 9, 2013 Author Posted November 9, 2013 I can try but it resizes the pics weird =P Quote
minksey Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 What you could also do if you want to move them around and stuff like you said is get a program called 'rainmeter'. The images will pop up separately on your desktop and you can rearrange them anytime you want. They even go on top of your pre-existing wallpaper, or you could set your desktop to just have a white background. Quote
