Weapon Upgrade Tips

I haven't spent a lot of time upgrading weapons (I don't even have a full 8 items equipped), instead focusing on increasing stats. Here are my current weapons and stats:

 

Weapons:

• 2 x Scroll of Knowledge
• Blue Scorchstone
• Downsize!
• Shiny Shoal Shell Shield
• Green Frost Cannon
• Leaf Shield

Stats:

• Level: 61 (Building this up for training)
• HP: 158
• Attack: 114
• Defense: 114

 

What weapons should I look into buying? I've been thinking about buying Brynns Legendary Sword of Wraith Smiting or Dr Sloths Personal Bath Buddy, as well as Sophies Magic Hat. Any and all help is appreciated.

 

Additionally, are there any particular faerie abilities that I should invest in?

Definitely keep training! Try to get to the 125 boost, especially with your strength, if you can.

 

Without knowing your budget, it's hard to recommend good weapons. Those that you named are all good. If budget is not an issue, then I tend to say the more icons, the better. Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy is a great option because it's the strongest in its price range, doing a constant 14 icons. BLSoWS is also good, doing 12.75 icons, but it's inflated right now, so I would go for the Bath Buddy instead because it's just a few more icons for just a few more NP.

 

Similarly, Sophies Magic Hat is a good shield and a good upgrade to Leaf Shield. You could also consider hanging on to your Shiny Shoal Shell Shield and getting SMH and Parasol of Unfortunate Demise so you have some defense of every type of icon.

 

Personally, I would get rid of your Green Frost Cannon. It doesn't freeze often enough to make it worthwhile. You can get the faerie ability Lens Flare instead. It works much like a freezer.

 

You could also upgrade your healer to Greater Healing Scroll to get a few more HP healed. GHS is pretty inflated right now, though, so it might be best to hang on to your scorchstone instead.

 

Also, pick up some 15-icon muffins for those important battles. Brain Muffin is a pretty economical one.

For faerie abilities, definitely get Lens Flare as I suggested. You should also get one of the free ones. I like Static Cling best. You can read about all of the faerie abilities at the Battlepedia.
