Questions about Greater Elemental Potion

I wanted to pick up a new defense item, but wasn't really sure what to look for. I'm still a noob at this. I came across the Greater Elemental Potion and was curious what it's rating would be?

 

I went on TDN battle pages but there was no rating. And it's going for 800k... anyone have any opinion?

 

I'm currently using Sophies Magic Hat :)

It's...terrible to say the least. :P

 

9 icons of defense is less than Sophies Magic Hat, and you really don't know what it will block. It might've been kinda fun if it was, say 2K, but the price is too steep and the weapon is unreliable overall.

 

It would probably receive a 1~3 rating.

Well, considering its price, you could actually get a bunch of shields that you could interchange in your set rather than the Greater Elemental Potion - namely Sophies Magic Hat, Royal Blue Cape, Leaf Shield, Shiny Shoal Shell Shield, Devious Top Hat and Cane and the like.

 

Stick with Sophies Magic Hat. It's one of the best shields you can get for that level. The only true upgrade would by the Hidden Tower and Cove Shields, which are in the millions. If you plan on doing 2p, buy a Blue Draping Cloak - it, along with Sophies Magic Hat, covers all icons and defends a ton of earth :D

Alright, thanks guys :) Sorry for being a noob but it's just something I never learned a lot about.

 

I'll stick with the hat, for now I'm seeing about upgrading to a better dual-duty. :)
