anorexorcist
I just found out my financial aid probably won't be going through. I was really down about it. Next thing you know, my boyfriend shows up home with what he calls a "happiness kit." Which means it was beer, a cigar wrap, and tickets to Django Unchained. We ended up having a real good time and I'm just glad I've got someone there for me. Anybody do anything supa sweet things for you? hanalways
That is super sweet! It totally sucks about your financial aid though - paying for college sucks. Sucks monkey balls. I'm glad to hear that someone was there for you to lift your spirits :) My boyfriend is like the sweetest guy ever. Ever. Ever. We both work full time and go to school full time and have pets so our time is really limited towards each other. I had texted him earlier in the day saying I was having a rough day at work (my third 12 hour shift in three days consecutively) and was feeling really roughed up and exhausted. When I finally got out of work and home I walked up the stairs to find Pandora playing some soft relaxing music and the bedroom cleaned up (our bedroom is never clean, between the dogs and our schedules - clothes are everywhere, the bed is a mess, there are dog toys splayed haphazardly EVERYWHERE) and candles lit. I even took a picture of it! Our bathroom was set up for a bath with candles lit and bath salts/soaps and everything. It totally made my week. Rebecca~
Awwww, that is so sweet. :D It's so lovely to have someone who can do the simple stuff to cheer you up. :) My girlfriend is the same way. :D She can tell if I've had a bad day, and she'll make me a cup of tea, and take over making dinner- something that is my job to do. It's the little stuff that really sticks, eh?
~Xandria
So very sorry to hear about your financial aid situation. :( As Hana already said, paying for college sucks. Really bad. That is really nice of your bf though. :) & Hana, that is adorable! Thanks for sharing.

anorexorcist
Aw. Everyone should have someone to do sweet things for them As for the financial aid thing, the only thing that's messing me up right now is that I can't get my transcripts. I owe the last college I went to an exorbitant amount of money that I'll never be able to pay off unless I get a good job someday. And they won't gimme my transcripts. At this point, we're hoping we can talk to someone in the financial aid office this week and get them to waive the need for transcripts. If not, I'll get a job until fall and start going to bartending school as soon as I turn 21. Really, going to this college was motivated mostly by the money fafsa was willing to give me (7k.) But if I can't get that, I can't go to school. I'll keep errone posted and let ya'll know if they decide to make an exception for my case. poptart123
My husband has surprised me by cleaning the whole house, giving the baby a bath and cooking dinner on several occasions so I could just sit on the couch with my feet up and relax :) He's a great guy. :wub_anim:
