evil_minx
I have a Plushie gallery. Any and all plushies is the game plan with Gallery Spotlighting as the overall goal. I can't pull myself away from the plushies. I used to collect stuffed animals in real life (had a couple hundred at one point) and so yeah, plushies are my thing. I am looking for some various ways I could organize them. There are so many. I had them sort of categorized but it was rubbing me wrong and I deleted them. Here's the link to my gallery: http://www.neopets.com/gallery/index.phtml?gu=evil_minx Any and all input is welcome. I was also wondering if anyone knows where to find a gallery layout generator or tutorial or something. I have a premade now but I was reading that this isn't acceptable for the contest, that you have to make your own. I am not very good at that sort of thing so I should probably get an early start on it. Edited December 1, 2012 by evil_minx
Batman
Organizing a gallery is very difficult for me. I personally just have my grundo gallery alphabetical. I have tried organizing them in different ways but i just can't seem to stick with any one. My side account I am doing plushies, but when I looked to see how many their were I limited myself to only the basic pets with the four basic colors. I haven't completed it and I haven't worked on it in awhile but that one is also ordered alphabetically by pets species then by color so I have all of the Acaras (blue, green, red then yellow), Aishas (blue, green, red then yellow) and so forth. I guess I would just suggest alphabetical by species maybe. I also did one that was dependent on the prices in jellyneo but that was frustrating change it every time they did updates. I am terrible about making layouts so I can't help much there, but I did make a petpage layout once (not very well but it functioned) and I just googled it all. EDIT: Oh and your link doesn't work for me. It sends me to my own gallery. I think you have to view as guest to be able to link to your own gallery. evil_minx
I've been leaning towards alphabetical because there are so many. I fixed that link.
Angeló
how about heroes vs villains or basic colors vs complex colors or plushies facing left vs plushies facing right
icedragonair
Cool. I have a plsuhie gallery too, I'm doing mine by color, and then by species alphabetically within the colors, going from basic colors to complex for now (mainly because my gallery is still small). Some of the other ideas I had was going by species instead, with something like rainbow order. Or just starting with the colors you like best and then going to the colors that are not your favorite. Another really weird idea I had, that would take an enormous amount of work was doing it in a long stretched spiral, or a zigzag motif like so: /\/\ (since there are 4 columns) I think angelos idea of facing left vs. is incredibly cool though. :D
