Lava Ghoul and Ghost Lupe not giving prizes?

I battled each on diffirent difficulty levels for a combined of 15 times with no item prizes (I haven't reached the prize limit), what is this? I battle Kauvara and get prizes almost other battle.

It's just completely random if you ever get anything. I fought the Tombola Guy a great number of times everyday on the hardest difficulty and still haven't gotten anything from him but I got a few things from Ghost Lupe.

 

The prizes are just as random as the amount of prizes you get per fight whether it's 1,2,3, or nothing xD

I haven't had much luck with the ghost lupe and the tiki tack man either (both in pango palladium along with the fire ghoul). I fought the tiki tack man 9-11 times today and I only got one item. I think I fought the ghost lupe 5-6 times and got nothing. Someone on the neoboards wondered if it's more rare to get items in the pango palladium. Looks that way to me. Unless I randomly got super unlucky with my fights in that dome. I switched to dome of the deep and prizes were awarded as I would describe as normal at this early stage.

I like this early stage. It's all mysterious and holding me at the edge of my seat wondering if I'll get anything or not. Motivates me to actually train Ting :rambo:
