Looking for help running Neotown!

Hi, my name is Raichi and 4 November 2011 I officially opened Neotown a neopets roleplay forum.

 

Created solely by myself, and had to find ways to reel in members.

Advertising daily on the host site itself, having a deviantART club, twitter, livejournal, getting affiliated with TDN, I even made a tutorial on what roleplay is and how to do it on a forum. And tried it through art by doing requests.

 

At one point more people started joining giving me a boost again, but within no time it quieted down again.

 

It's now been a whole year and it saddens me that the site hasn't even taken off yet. I realize that without a team of moderators (hence only me being online daily and barely ever more people) people get the impression the site isn't alive and won't be tended to join.

 

So please, would you join my team and help run Neotown? Advertising isn't necessary, only do it when you feel like it, I just need a group of people to log in once a day and help motivate me into doing events and flashes for Neotown. (I can make a flash in a single day, I just lack the inspiration and motivation)

Have you tried to hire within your community first? Usually members see that kind of intern promotion as a rewards and it might motivate other members to be more active in order to get that status one day...

 

(Or maybe you can kidnap Theo's brother who is a talented writer :P That's always an alternative.)

I would, but for the past I think 30 days the only one who's been online has been me :/ others come there maybe once a month or so ^^;

 

Someone just joined ^^ So I posted the recruiting message on neotown as well, thanks for the advice :)
