New NC Wearables from the Battledome!

unlikely combination but there you are. :P TNT have managed to introduce a new way to get NC wearables by introducing the super sparkly Faerie Element Battledome Claw into the NC Mall for 150NC

 

This item will award you one of a set of new NC wearables when you use it in a 1-P battle after equipping the Faerie Element Battledome Claw to your pet, it does not appear to matter which challenger you pick, as the prizes are randomly given out from the set.

 

the message after using reads:

 

Using your expert claw skills, you reach into your opponent's bags and retrieve:

 

Spinning Water Chakram (or any one of the items)

 

THIS ITEM DOES NOT DO ANY DAMAGE AND IS ONCE USE ONLY

 

so you might want to equip some actual weapons to avoid being beaten up after snatching your shiny new item. you get one item per claw, and the FAQ hints that in future TNT will release other claws with different items!

Also there is a possibility this item is partially glitched, as so far no-one has managed to get the shield of light, so its possible this item has not been activated properly.

 

Update: this item has now been fixed, and people are now able to get the Shield, its still however the rarest prize to get from the Claw and also hard to find up for trade

the second link under the item is for Dress to Impress ;) so you can see it on a few pets that people have submitted models of, and they are still processing more as i know i've added a few that haven't shown up yet.

 

DTI is also useful to check and preview outfits before you buy things if you've never used it before.

I agree, the Chakram is awesome. I also really like the Shield of light because of the detail of the wings on the front. I bet it looks amazing on certain pets. I'm also curious to seee how the leafy wooden helmet will look on, erm.... "wooden pets?" darn. I can't believe I've forgotten the name of that paint-brush. -_-

That's interesting! I'm not super tempted by any of the items, but the dark battle armour looks like a good match for a darigan pet :)

I really wanted the Shield of Light, as well & spent a small fortune with zero luck....!

 

The Ultra Pink items are beautiful & I really really wanted them for my Pink Kougra, especially - welp, I ended up with a ton of BGs & Bracers - I did get the other items (excluding the Trousers) eventually, but it was EXPENSIVE!

And I still didn't have the Trousers - I was lucky to get an extra pair of Wings & also find a trader with the Trousers (I did, eventually)

 

I truly love the items but the cost is another thing.....even the LEs in caps aren't this hard to get!

 

I hope nothing too awesome comes out from those claws in the future because in the future, I'm going to try my best to stay away from them!

(unless I get lucky & win a lottery or something lol)

It's worth knowing that the gal I got the trousers from couldn't get anything but BGs & Bracers & a few pairs of the Trousers - but nothing else

 

I wish I'd known the first one was going to retire, too!
