Why didn't Neopets call the shadow paint brush

Well beacause there using synomens (or however you spell it) so it diesn't sound dull so more people would buy it mabey an ddoesn't like look very dark?!

Then why isn't the white called albino?

I don't think Wraith pets look very 'shadow' like with that pink glow they have :P but White isn't called albino because it doesn't make pets that way so to speak? Albino isn't so much a 'colour' and their eyes don't lack pigmentation etc. By that logic the Shadow brush would be a Melanism one or something.

Shadow also sounds cooler but is still simplistic.

beacause it means something else or people like the regural word better so people don't question them:P and it also makes the pb sound a bit boring:-_-:

well black could also refer to a skin colour so perhaps TNT wanted to avoid possible racial slurs?
