Rebecca~ Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Oh wow. Um. Well, at least they recognised that it was something that was reportable. Urgh. Quote
lwarlen Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Wow! People these days, I'm surpised that some people still do that. (not that I've someone else do it though) Quote
andaraen Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Uhhhhh....what? Am I actually seeing that? There can't be people like that, can there? Quote
Finn the Human Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 I don't know but I was playing Turmac Roll and looked the highest score's look-up. It showed that image. Quote

Toakyle Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I don't know but I was playing Turmac Roll and looked the highest score's look-up. It showed that image. Haha I was at the exact same lookup two days ago! Quote
Finn the Human Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 Haha I was at the exact same lookup two days ago! Wow. I was playing Turmac Roll and wondered how someone got so high. I checked there look-up and this is what I see. Quote
Sakabato Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Wow, that was a pretty old message there. Quote
Sakeru_Kyori Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Haha wow, what a dork. People are hilarious now a days. Quote
vyvren Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Wow, that was a pretty old message there. Haha, I noticed that too, but I can understand why the person chose to keep it - it made me laugh (just a little *cough*) Quote
Sakabato Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I even wonder what happened to that guy lol Quote
Artios Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I even wonder what happened to that guy lol Probably grew up and and facepalmed.. a LOT. aha/ Quote
sarria33 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 The person who wrote that might have been a kid. Loads of kids lie on neopets that they are 13 or over so they will be able to neomail an use neoboards. Quote

tazrandus Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 lol seems legit The person who wrote that might have been a kid. Loads of kids lie on neopets that they are 13 or over so they will be able to neomail an use neoboards. Haha, who didn't? Well I actually told the truth and put my real age when I played and I realised too late so I begged my parents to fax a parental consent form to the neopets HQ to grant me permission to use the boards, guilds and neomail but I ended up having to wait until my 13th birthday. rainshower Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 That made made me laugh, I wonder how young that person was! Quote
Sakabato Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Probably grew up and and facepalmed.. a LOT. aha/ They'll be reminded about this when they start checking in here! Quote
Koralis Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Wow...I can't believe anyone would think that's ever okay. Kid or not, and I definitely lied when I started to say I was over 13, but really?! That seems like an obvious no no, whatever age. Quote
Saxen Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Haha! Just, what?! lol. I've had messages similar to that before (naive and noobish) when I was offering help for Faerie Quests on my look-up. I got a message asking me to buy a Baby Paint Brush for them for a Fountain Faerie Quest... lol. Don't think they fully understood what I meant :P or were just trying to scam. Quote

LOL, just trying to scam. :P I'm pretty sure that the Fountain Faerie doesn't ask for any PB. Some people! Quote
Saxen Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 LOL, just trying to scam. :P I'm pretty sure that the Fountain Faerie doesn't ask for any PB. Some people! That's exactly what I thought!! It was super dodgy. One minute they were behaving all nooby and misspelling words and whatnot, and then when I spoke to them a bit more they started acting a bit more... well like this, talking normally XP I cant remember if I reported or not, I think I just left it. I wonder if people make Newbie accounts just for this reason? So when they're trying to scam they look as if they could just be new...? Quote

Who would pay any attention to someone with a two year old account or whatever, asking for a Baby PB, but a newbie? Quote
Saxen Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I imagine that people do! Who would pay any attention to someone with a two year old account or whatever, asking for a Baby PB, but a newbie? If it was a two year account I would have reported straight away - that's what I do with the trading post nowadays. If someone's doing something they shouldn't on a 1 year+ account then that's not cricket cause they should know the site rules by now. After that Baby PB incident I am more likely to report suspicious behavior, even on a newbie account. I do send polite Neomails though if I think they're legit new :P Quote

You're way nicer than me though! I generally don't think they're legit, lol. XD Quote
