Posting creative writing on neo?

I've been seeing a lot of creative writing sites lately that are hosted on neo. I am thinking of creating one for my poetry, but I want to get my facts straight first. If you post your writing on a petpage that is not related to neopets, does neopets still own it? If you do this, are you legally able to post/ publish it elsewhere?

Thank you, and I'm sorry if it is a bit of a silly question.

No replies yet? :(

This is straight from the terms and conditions:

" 7. Posting Your Stuff on the Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds. If you write something that catches our eye anywhere on the Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds, we might want to use it. By posting material on the Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds or through the Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds' functionality (and getting your parent's permission to do so if you are under the age of 18), you and your parents are telling us it's ok to repeat what you say. It's even ok to put it in an advertisement. It means we can use it in any way we want, anywhere, until the end of time. And wouldn't it be cool if we used something YOU said until the end of time? "

" 2. Our License to Your Content/Intellectual Property. By uploading or otherwise submitting any materials to us and/or the Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds, you (and your parents, if you're under age 18) automatically grant (or warrant that the owner of such rights has expressly granted) to us a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, and distribute such materials or incorporate such materials into any form, medium, or technology (now known or hereafter developed or devised) throughout the universe. In addition, you warrant that all so-called "moral rights" and other rights recognized throughout the world (including without limitation, the European Economic Community) in those materials have been waived."

So, it says they have a "non-exclusive right to ...publish." Which means that if you wanted to publish a book of your creative writing, but legally, they'd also be able to publish a book of your creative writing.
