xbox controller and mouse

Recommended Posts

I just realized I can play with the mouse, when did this happen? Also is anyone else playing with an xbox controller? I find it much more relaxing I'm a pc gamer so I usually prefer keyboard and mouse for FPS and mmorpg but platform style games I prefer a game pad. Anyway I plugged my xbox controller in and used xpadder to map the arrow keys to the D-pad and spacebar to the top right button to give my thumb a rest, also mapped the mouse to the left stick so and the left click to the left top button that way I can play, submit, and restart the game all while leaning back in my chair :happydance:

That's awesome. :D

I guess TNT changed YYB to be able to be played with the mouse again this year- I know a lot of people complained about that being taken away. :)

Was Yooyuball played without a mouse?? (I missed the last few years) I can't imagine being able to play without a mouse! I don't blame people for complaining.

Yes you can use a Xbox or ps3 controller.

Basic Simple tutorial

you need a controller which has a usb plug, unless your willing to buy adapted and things.

plug it into your pc wink.png

Use a driver such as http://xpadder.com/

Right, now you just simply register your controller buttons to which keyboard buttons you want them to register as)

Image Instructions:

Select NEW

Click the "Open..." button to select a controller image

Move your stick left as asked, pretty simple..

Simples, Set your dpad up to how you want it (I usually make sticks my arrow keys)

Then you buttons... I make Space my bottom button and then the other buttons to whether i need/fancy them ass.

Yea so pretty easy to do,

This is my first time playing, but yes, that's what I heard. I can't imagine playing without my mouse either. D:

I hooked up my xbox controller after seeing this thread, and I must say it's gotten way easier to play through tons and tons of games of Shootout Showdown! I think I'll keep using my mouse for Yooyuball though.

Yeah I played with mouse controls the year before last there were no mouse controls at all last year which is why I was surprised to discover I could. Although I don't think the mouse controls are exactly the same as the old version I can't remember but I was great with the mouse controls and stunk at the keyboard now I find the mouse imossible. Also with the old version you had to manually select what player you wanted to control which I liked because now going after a ball and suddenly my actice changes automatically and Im running the wrong way before I realize it. But I just got a 15-0 score so thats good.
