Emily Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 I've been using Macromedia Flash MX since I learned on it in high school *feels old*. I'm looking for a more up-to-date animation program that has a better interface and can easily do basic functions. Importing a png with a transparent background, for example, and having it stay transparent on the stage, not turn white, because when I export as an animated gif, it stays white, even when I set the export settings to transparent.
