Aalnius
so whilst i was looking at the avatar collectors high score list knowing i'm probably never going to be able to get on it, i thought why don't they make it so it's like world challenges were you have to opt in to it because its nigh on impossible to get on it nevermind near the top due to the amount of retired avatars and im guessing alot of the accounts on it probably arn't even active anymore. booker693
Agreed. I've been working really hard to get as many as I can, but I don't think I can ever even get close. :(
Saxen
If those accounts are inactive eventually they'll be purged (... maybe) ^_^ I think the idea of that avatar is that it's ridiculously hard to get, you gotta have a collectory one :P
youngrace
well actually they do have to "enter" to get into the hst ~ in order to get into the table each month, you'll need to gain an avatar within that month. so usually what they do is change their shopkeeper to something other than the emo usuki, then change it back. any usernames that don't change their avatar count aren't listed, so all the accounts on the hst are active i'm afraid. :-S
behemothrules
Good idea ^_^ not that I ever even hope to be on that list, I have wondered how people are always supposed to get more avvies than the top person. There's only so many!

It's like any other high score table, it resets each month and you have to "send" a score to get on it. Your score is the number of avvies you have. As grace said, you either have to get a new one, or lose one (emo usuki, dr. sloth, deadly dice, etc) and regain it so it registers as an "added" avatar and your "score" is "sent." The problem is, a lot of people like to stay on the high score table A )to try for a higher trophy level B ) get the NP that you get from being on a high score table C ) be on a high score table, so many people stay on it by using the above method. Masaryk
It also seems that there are just a lot more people trying for the Avatar Collector avatar all of a sudden. Two months ago, with 319 avatars, I was #82 on the list, and I had been on the top 100 list for a few months. Now, I can't even come close, since the minimum score this month was 331 avatars. o_O There hasn't been a bunch of new avatars released in that time, so I guess a lot of people decided to go for the avatar this month. I hope it calms down again soon, since I was pretty close to making in the top 50 not very long ago.
