Alice ☮ Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Is it at all possible to get the Tarla alerts on a brand new Mac? (With latest versions of Chrome and Firefox?) I tried the user-made extension for FF, but it's not compatible with the latest version >_> Quote
Saxen Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Here are the system requirements for the Tarla Toolbar: Microsoft Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP Microsoft Windows 2000/XP East Asian Language Support Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later Mozilla Firefox 1.0 - 1.5 I pinched that from here if you wanna check it out http://toolbar.neope...om/support.aspx I remember I had to download an ancient version of FF to make it work, and it clashed with loads of other stuff cause it was so old so I gave up :/ Wish you better luck with it all! Though it looks as though it's strictly PC :( Quote
Alice ☮ Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 Yeah, I know about the requirements, which is my problem: I don't have the right OS xD I was hoping there was a way around it, like this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/neopets-toolbar-add-on/, but it's not available for the latest version of FireFox *cries* Quote
Xepha Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 There are no work around as far as I know... and I've been using a mac for 4 years now :P Quote
Alice ☮ Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 Awwwwww shucks  Oh well, guess it wasn't all that important anyway x) Quote
SuperAttackPea Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 http://www.tdnforums.com/index.php?/topic/19474-tarlas-toolbar/ Follow the steps. I got the toolbar working EXCEPT THE STUPID TARLA alert button, which always says Member Alert Previous Alerts(0) It keeps on saying that everytime I open it. I guess it might be my McAfee anti-virus Quote
