antiaircraft
Hmm... the only gripe I have with the 'view new posts' feature is that it resets (along with the read/unread topic indicators) if I leave the forum for too long.
DOOM Bringer
Yeah, that can be annoying, but I just try and remember where I was up to. The time of post on the side really helps as it gives you a certain few posts to choose from (provided you know around the time you were last on)
antiaircraft
Well it wasn't very useful a while ago - the forum clock used to be quite a bit too fast. But it seems somebody's adjusted it properly now. ^_^
Guest Levy
Oh cool, the clock's fixed? About time. <_<
Superfly
Xepha and I poked Ian about it until he did something. :D Isn't it so pretty now?!#?!L
The Original Luna
Well much has changed here... Everything was as it was a few minutes back until I reappeared from my two month slumber.
Revenge
Eh. Two months. Try coming back after two years... *head explodes from future shock*
The Original Luna
Thought I recognised the name- you the same person who was in the shoutbox a lot on the old TDN?
Guest Levy
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO REMEMBERS? Kewl, Luna, you need that sig back, I didn't recognize you there for a moment.
Revenge
Yay, I'm memorable! ^_^ Is anyone else angry at the clock 'cause time goes so fast?
antiaircraft
Not so much angry at the clock as having a philosophical debate with myself on the nuances of Murphy's Law.
Revenge
Yeah, okay. I'm just gonna pretend I'm smart and understood what you said/typed.
antiaircraft
I was referring to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy%27s_law It seems to be applying itself pretty well.
Guest Levy
Ah, I know that. What can got wrong WILL go wrong. Brilliant man this Murphy.
antiaircraft
I remember there was this guy who came up with a saying about idiot-proof systems: "If you make something idiot-proof, the world will create a better idiot."
Revenge
Ah, very true. So what's with this name-changing event? Tired of being the evil guy? In other news, my DS broke down completely today. it was on the verge of garbage junk anyways. I can no longer play any games I had for that system. At least till I get another one. Guest Levy
That suck dude... Get a PSP. I kinda wish I could trade in my DS for a PSP.
Revenge
Revenge doesn't see himself with a PSP.... That means I would have to buy the games all over again. Or movies, but still. I still wanna play my DS games. They be cool. b)
Guest Levy
BTW, Like the sig I replaced AA's old sig with? I likey this one. AND it goes with my avie!
Strategos
About Murphy's law, the best thing I like about it is that it works on itself, so that every problem or non problem is subject to Murphy's law. As well, I seem to remember a similar law about three buses always arriving together 20 minutes late. If anyone can dig information about that law up, please share with us the article. antiaircraft
@Levy: I like that sig. @Revenge: I was just bored enough to create a new set, so I changed my name to go with it. Murphy's Law is always far too true...
Parshy
I wonder if there is a way to beat it? Ideas?
antiaircraft
Well, theoretically, the way to beat Murphy's Law is to use idiot-proof system. *Pokes my quote on idiot-proof systems above*
Revenge
I'm bored. And tired. I don't wanna sleep, but I have nothing to do. Revenge asks: What can I do?
Guest Levy
What can go wrong, will... ... for everybody.
