Thing is, those people like to "show off" in front of the teacher so they are never willing to admit they don't know something. I guess it's their own ego.

 

For short they are so called as "Teacher's Pet"...

I have a rather large ego, but I don't like showing off. I prefer to do whatever I need to do by myself. I've pretty much never been a very good team player.

 

My best friend is AA3 (my little brother), but I have a few other friends. I don't mind backstabbing - it's not like it'll actually hurt you in any way.

Theo, you say that because you don't have many friends. Backstabbing is basically when you let a friend get closer than anyone else, and then they do something to hurt you in a way that you almost feel like you'll never recover. Once you feel that, you'll never want to feel it again.

That happened with one of my friends too- they thought someone liked them but in the end they were dropped by the person for their best friend- (not me)

Yeah but you need proper friends in RL that you can trust as well.

I think that's normal. The only people I trust are my family (grandpa included) and my BF. Other than that, I don't really have a close friend I can trust. You know you gain trust through actions and I feel some people talk to me thinking they can get something out of me (i.e. homework help).

Actually, backstabbing doesn't have to be emotional. It could be where your doing some type of money deal and that person decides to screw you over on the deal and take your money. Trust me I've seen lots of people backstab other people in different ways.

Hmm I don't reply on proof but rather on experience.

I trust my father 100% since throughout my experience with him he's never lied to me. He's up straight about everything. I know without doubt if I asked my father to hold on to a million dollars I know he wouldn't go and spend one cent of it.

Everyone's parents are different I know that by fact by just seeing my friends parents... :S
