And I don't really mind whether or not an avatar is animated.

Its almost 700kb, I think it would not fit in anywhere. when I animate things I skip NO frames.

Well, according to the official meepit handbook for computer maintenance, there are five steps you can take:

 

1. Whack your computer a couple of times.

2. Make spooky noises at your computer to try and scare away whatever's causing the problem.

3. Threaten the computer with a hammer.

4. Make good on your threat.

5. Go get a pipe bomb, stick it in your computer, and detonate it.

Is that resolution to change the colors on the monitor so that it shows green? My brother kept claiming he saw the green screen of death. T'was quite amusing.

Does anybody actually read the stuff on the blue screen of death? I once had a Windows 98 computer and whenever that screen turned up I would read what it said, just to pass the time.

Well, their gone- you got flu? Hang on- is it summer over on the other side of the continent? I just had a Maths module, part of my GCSE.

We don't have a summer here - right now it's the wet season (or it's supposed to be, despite the lack of rain).

 

I'm taking my IGCSEs, which I guess are the the international versions of the GCSEs.
