You know how it's been not letting me get to MSN, AIM, and e-mail lately? Well, everytime I use the back up it dose something worse. Last time it was just my favorites. This time it got rid of my files too.

whoa, why not do a system restore, its undos any harmful damages without losing recent work like favourites ect, you computer sets restore points auto every couple of days or something, its under accessories then system tools if you got windows

Have you scanned your system for viruses or anything, that could be in there, becuase that is odd, although, I once had a file where every time I opened it, it would just randomly delete a file in there, odd, lucky me I had a backup disk with all those files on it, becuase it was important school stuff.

I've scanned dozens of times. I'm just going to leave my computer on from now on since it only hits after it's been off. And no more advice. i've treid everything from virus scans to fixing things indivaually.
